"Is the great Dion nervous?" Bastet purred, smirking as she jumped onto her bike. "Pick me up at seven, I'll text you my address."

Dion cleared his throat slightly and felt his face get slightly red, "Mkay great, I'll see you then." He waved at her farewell.

(ok. TIMESKIP to that evening)

Bastet was panicking.
Should I wear a skirt? Or a dress? What about makeup? How much? she thought, darting around her apartment frantically. Ugh, calm down, girl! It's D! He's seen you in sweats. Besides, it's not necessarily a date… is it? ARGH
Finally, after a bit more panicking, she picked out a simple black dress with gold sandals and natural makeup.

At 6:55, she checked herself in the mirror a final time, then headed down to the lobby of her apartment building to meet Dion.

Dion drove up to Bastet's apartment building, wearing a pressed suit with a blue and black tie and black slacks. He stood outside and leaned against the hood of his car. He cleared his throat nervously and adjusted his tie before walking into the building's lobby.

"He's here, miss," meowed Tua the lobby cat, licking his paw.
"Thanks, Tua," she meowed back.
Bastet got up from her perch on the arm of the chair and smoothed her dress before walking over.
"Hey, D," she said with a broad smile and a small wave.
Oh my Ra, he looks so handsome!

"Hey B" Dion smiled broadly and slicked his hair back and out of his face. I knew she was beautiful but… She's absolutely stunning. His breath hitched for a moment before steadying his breath quickly. "You look… breathtaking." He mentally slapped himself. "I mean, you always look great I just meant more so than usual…" He felt his face heat up.

"Hey B" Dion smiled broadly and slicked his hair back and out of his face. I knew she was beautiful but… She's absolutely stunning. Bastet smirked at his red face, even though she felt her own heating up.
"You look rather handsome yourself," she purred, tail swishing. "Now, shall we go?"

"Of course. You'll have to give me some directions though." Dion winked and offered his arm to her to walk her out of the building and to the car.

"Naturally," she said, pulling up the address on her phone and sending it to him.
