“Alright.” he nodded, smiling softly back. “Then go ahead and pick an empty car.” he encouraged.

"Okay ." She nodded her head as she walked onto the black platform that the cars sat on before picking one of them an sitting in it she felt quite strange sitting in this 'car' but she was a little excited as well

Marcus followed her onto the platform and picked a car of his own, though his six-foot frame made it look a little silly as he sat down. He didn't let it bother him. He was used to it.

She looked over at him giggling a little at the size difference between him and the car and shook her head a little

Marcus looked at her when he heard her laugh and smiled back, shrugging at his situation.

Maria thought it was kind of cute but she wouldn't say that out loud of course

Marcus would have blushed if she had, but at the moment he was more focused on having fun and making sure Maria had a good time. His smile turned into a bit of a smirk as he playful revved the little engine.

She laughed the sound if the engine her head falling back a little as she revved her in response

He smiled brightly at her laugh, chuckling a little as well. It wasn't too much longer for the last car to be taken that the cars were released.

Maria was kinda just sitting there she didn't exactly know what to do and she was slightly embarrassed now

(it's ok. That happens sometimes.)

Marcus saw the other drivers starting to move and quickly got his car in gear, bumping into other cars as he made his way over to Maria.

Maria was kinda just driving around like a goof she didn't want to run into anyone or anything so just picture the small dirty blond haired girl division g like you would on the road…. In a bumper car she looked quite silly out there but she didn't mind one bit

Marcus laughed a little at how Maria was driving as he pulled up beside her, giving her car a playful bump. “You know you can bump into people, right?” he smiled.

She looked at he with a slightly embarrassed face now and shook her head "um yeah I know but I don't want to. "

“Alright. Then just be prepared to get bumped a lot.” he warned with an encouraging smile as someone bumped into him. “See what I mean?” he chuckled. “There's no getting away from it.”

"I don't really think I like bumper cars all that much…" Once someone bumped into Marcus another person bumped into Maria making the two cars hit each other

“Alright. That's fair. Then… Whoa!” he laughed when someone bumped their cars against each other. “You ok?”

Maria laughed as they bumped into each other and shook he head "yeah I think so"

“Ok.” he smiled. “Then, if you can, try staying close to the wall. That way if you get hit, it's only from one side and it's not very much.” he suggested.

"Okay." She nodded her head not really wanting to go away for Marcus "

Marcus smiled at her and gave her car a little nudge with his. “It'll be ok.”

She chuckled a little bit out of nervousness and nodded "yeah I know. "

“If you want, I can drive with you. Add a little more protection.” he offered, raising a brow slightly at her laugh.

"Would you? That'd make me feel better. "

“Sure.” he smiled with a little shrug. “Honestly, deliberately running into other cars is a bad habit.” he joked, driving with her.

"Your kidding me right? " she said with a small laugh

“Maybe.” he smirked. “Maybe I was just trying to get you to laugh.”

"Well I hope it was that second one" she said laughing again

“It was.” he smiled assuringly. “You looked a little nervous so I thought I'd try to cheer you up.”
