(We could, yeah. I was think the reason that Leo’s family is at Eleanora kingdom is because of a ball or something. Like a big event)
(We could, yeah. I was think the reason that Leo’s family is at Eleanora kingdom is because of a ball or something. Like a big event)
((That could work? Would it be after a bit of time or later that day?))
(I’d say a bit of time, like in a few days and the palace is prepping for it.)
(Ooh I had an idea. Maybe at the ball, Eleanora finds this handsome prince from another kingdom and thinks he’s hot and goes off with him but he turns out to be a baddie and Leo comes to Dave her or something. And then they are ✨bonding✨)
((OOh, I could see that happening!))
((Would you want to do time leading up? Or just start at the ball? Also, who would start that?))
(Why don’t we have the ball the next day, probably afternoon/evening. And it doesn’t really matter who. You can if you want)
((If I do, it'll be a while before it gets up? Could you possibly?))
(I’ll try once I get home and have my laptop. Is soo Much easier to write on that plus I’ma little busy atm. But I can’t don’t worry)
((THat would be great!)
Eleanora woke to the sounds of birds. She looked around in a sleepy haze.
I think I must have fallen asleep. Eleanora guessed as she noticed she was still in yesterday's clothes. She looked over to Leo who was sleeping peacefully in his bed.
He looks so content when asleep, it's rather adorable. Eleanora thought before widening her eyes. She did not just think that to herself. She got out of her bed and headed to her wardrobe to find some clothes to change into. She groaned to herself when noticing the ball gown sitting on a mannequin, ready for the ball that was this evening. The whole reason that Leo's family had come to her kingdom. She picked out a breathable pink dress and changed into it before walking int o the main bedroom, wondering if leo was awake.
(Also just wondering, what does Leo look like? Eleanora has wavy light brown hair that reaches her lower back when straightened and she has hazel eyes, that sometimes look green in the right lighting. She's about average height too.)
(This is kinda what I imagine him to look like

Leopold -who was actually preferred to get to bed early- was still fast asleep in his bed. He was still getting used to sharing a bedroom with this princess, and that meant that he would have to sort of change his bedroom attire. Snuggled up underneath his blankets he grew more and more comfortable, until he heard footsteps in their bedroom. He was a light sleeper to begin with, so he slowly sat up in his bed, rubbing his eyes tiredly. I wonder where Eleanora might have gone? He thought, before frowning when he saw the ball gown in the bedroom. That probably is not for me… But I suppose that means that I have to get ready elsewhere for this ball.
“Morning sleepyhead,” Eleanora smirked as she walked into the main part of the bedroom. “We’ve got that stupid ball tonight hense… this.” She waved her hands at the gown.
"Ah, yes, I suppose that does make sense as to why there is a hideously large ballgown in our bedroom." He said before smoothing down his blonde hair. "And good morning princess."
Eleanora sat on her bed and picked up her book. She couldn’t help but notice that Leo looked cute with his messy bed hair and morning voice, but she quickly shoved those thoughts out of her head. She wouldn’t admit that she was attracted to him, his looks at least. His personality was a whole different thing. Plus she wanted to her dream romance instead of it being arranged by her parents.
“I’m heading down to breakfast soon. If you wish to join me, then you better get dressed. We should make some sort of impression on our parents.” Eleanora recalled the message she had received from Francois yesterday.
The prince stayed quiet as he adjusted himself in bed, stretching a little bit. I suppose I need to get ready for the day, then later get prepared for the ball, after all, I do not believe that it will take me as long as it would take Eleanora to prepare for it. "I'll be ready shortly princess, if you prefer to have privacy while you prepare for the day, I could go out to the balcony and wait for you?"
“I’m all sorted. You were sleeping.” Eleanora looked up from her book. “I think you are the one who might want privacy.
"Ah, well then, if you would like, I can meet you at the breakfast hall once I am dressed? Would that work well for you, princess?" He asked, standing up and beginning to move over towards his closet, plucking some articles of clothing that would be appropriate for the day, then moving to the bathroom to get dressed.
"Sure, whatever." Eleanora stood from her bed and headed to the breakfast hall. She noticed servants tidying the palace and setting up decorations. Eleanora sighed. She didn't want to have this ball. She didn't want to get married to Leo. The good thing about him was his looks that Eleanora found rather attractive, but she would never admit that to herself and got rid of any thoughts of the sort. Maybe I can find someone else at this ball who I'll fall in love with and maybe it'll change the minds of my parents. Eleanora hoped for that outcome as she made it to the breakfast hall.
"Good morning." She greeted her parents and Leo's parents as she took a seat at the large table.
"Hello, Eleanora. How are you? I'm sorry we missed you yesterday." Leo's mother greeted her.
"It's ok, I had an afternoon nap."
"Are you excited for the ball this evening?" Leo's mother questioned.
"I am. I cannot wait." Eleanora eyed her father who was giving her a stern look, making sure she would answer correctly, "Leopold will be down shortly."
The moment Eleanora left the bedroom Leopold practically leapt out of his bed and hurried to the closet, grabbing the closest and cleanest clothes for the day, before going to his bathroom to get ready. He knew that the families were waiting on him, so he hurried up his daily routine -skipping out on shaving- and hurriedly pulled on his clothes. As the prince hurried down the halls to the dining room he pulled on his shoes, and regained his breath before entering the room. He smiled brightly, pushing the doors open and greeting the two royal families. "Good morning everyone." He said brightly, taking his seat next to Eleanora, gently taking her hand as he did so.
(Sorry. I just needed to take a few days rest.)
Eleanora smiled as Leopold took her hand, keeping up the appearances for her parents and his.
"Are you two excited for the ball tonight?" Eleanora's mother asked.
Waiters started exiting the kitchen with tray's of food, and placed them in front of the royals.
"I'm sure it'll be wonderful." Eleanora replied to her mother's question.
((Oh, I get that, I've been busy))
Leopold nodded slightly, his parents knew that he was not thrilled about the ball, but he just played along with it. "Yes, I cannot wait to celebrate with my betrothed." The prince said cheerily, looking down at the food placed before him. He never really was hungry in the mornings, but he figured it'd be better if he ate at least a little bit of it. "Will other royal families be in attendance?" He asked, taking a sip of his tea.
Eleanora gagged inside. She hated the word ‘betrothed’, especially when it was the two of them.
“Yes, the kingdoms from the north and west shall be in attendance. They should be arriving at noon. Other smaller kingdoms and important families have been invited as well.” Eleanora’s father said and he started on his meal.
Eleanora picked up her knife and fork and started eating, her stomach starved from not eating dinner the night before.
Leopold was not too fond of those families, having had plenty of issues with their sons many times in the past. But well, it was not his choice as to who was and who wasn't invited to this ball, after all, it was Eleanora's family who was choosing to do it, so it probably wouldn't be too bad. Although I am not too thrilled about seeing Adamo and Calian and the rest of their families once again.
As the meal continued, Leopold began to force himself to eat his meal, not wanting to appear rude in front of his bethrothed's family.
Eleanora was yet to meet any of the families from the other kingdoms and she was excited to know what they were like. She knew that both kingdoms had son's around her age and she wondered to herself if they would be a suitable match in her eyes.
She sneaked a glance at Leopold, wondering how he would feel if she got married to another prince. She was sure the boy felt the same as she did and didn't want to be forced into this arranged marriage.
Finishing up her meal, Eleanora quietly sat and waited for others to finish. The parents were conversing about simple royal matters that she didn't understand yet.
((Do you want her to leave, or for them to leave together, and just sort of have a conversation before the other royal families come in?))
(I was thinking she might get taken away by someone who would start getting her ready, hair and make up wise)
(Also I'm going to be inactive for a bit as I have an important event coming up :)
