“We could.” he smiled softly.

"Of your okay with it that is. " she didn't want to be rude and keep him there if he didn't want to

“Yeah, I'm okay with it.” he assured, leaning back against the rock wall. “Though we should keep an eye on the water. When the tide comes in… Well, it doesn't flood the whole thing but it does get up to my chest.” he warned calmly.

"Oh wow that's pretty much up to my chin." she said laughing

“I guess it would be.” he chuckled, looking down at their difference in height. Being six feet tall did have its advantages. “Don't worry. I’ll get you out safely.” he assured.

"My hero. " she said jokingly and smiled up at him

Marcus laughed at the tease and shrugged, despite his face growing warm. “Just doing what any decent person would do.”

"Of course of course.. " she was smirking a bit when she turned to look at the water and shiny rocks

Marcus followed her gaze and made himself comfortable. The rocks from all over the cove just sparkled like a thousand stars, their light reflecting on the currently calm water.

"I think your gonna have to drag me out of this place. " she said jokingly looking up at him again

Marcus laughed at the idea as he glanced at her. “Don't tempt me. I probably could if I wanted to.” he smirked.

"And what if I want to tempt you? " she raised an eye brow at him sharing the smirk that Marcus currently had

Marcus's smirk only grew as he straightened, towering over her, before swiftly sweeping her off her feet into a bridal carry. “Are you sure you want to?” he chuckled, holding her against his chest.

Her eyes widened when he leaned off the was and she yelped when she was lifted off the ground shut she continued to smirk "still want to. "

“You tease.” he chuckled, taking a couple of steps towards the exit.

"I've been told I'm quite the tease you are correct. " she giggling

He laughed with her and continued to walk carefully out of the cove. “Well, at least you realize it.”

" not in denial. " she said with a smirk

“Good. I like self-aware people.” he smiled back.

"Self aware not self Obsorbed right?. " she said laughing

“Right.” he chuckled. “Self-absorbed people can just get on the next plane outa here.”

She smiled at up him "so where are you taking me? "

“Right now, I'm just taking you outside. Beyond that… I don't really have a plan” he admitted.

"Uh huh. " she said laughing

He chuckled and held her close as he weaved through the rocks at the exit of the cove.

She leaned against him closing her eyes

Marcus smirked at her and, once he had enough space and good footing, he started spinning around quickly.

(Ooooh okay I'm on vacation at the beach as well and I can't really bring my phone everywhere so I will be a little late too, but I hope you have a good trip be safe!!!!!!!! )

Maria couldn't help but laugh as he spun around and gripped his shoulder lightly

Marcus laughed with her and kept spinning, trying to go faster without falling over.
