She looked out the window and sighed " yeah I guess. "

"Really Ash, I don't mind. I know how difficult telling those kinds of stories can be. I'm shocked you were comfortable enough to tell me."

"Yeah well feel lucky I don't tell that story to just anyone. ''

"So then why? Why tell me of all people?"

"To be honest.. I don't really know I guess I can let my guard down a little bit. "

Cassie raised an eyebrow at her. "I can't tell if I should be flattered or concerned."

"Why would you be concerned? "

"Because I'm not the kind of person people spill their guts to. I'm the kind of person they avoid spilling their guts to."

"Is there a reason for that? "

"None that you need to know." Cassie dismissed coolly.

"Don't worry about it. I just don't like people poking into my life."

"Weren't you though? Asking why people don't trust me with things?"

Cassie just shrugged and went quiet. Was she too blunt with things? Was that why people didn't trust her?

It wasn't the fact ash didn't trust her she just didn't like it when people got an attitude with her she just sat there with her arms crossed looking out the window

Cassie kept glancing at her every few seconds. Should she apologize? But she hadn't done anything wrong. Had she? Ugh, she hated feeling out of control like this. It's why she didn't have many friends.

Ash sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose " I'm sorry. "

"No I didn't" she snapped before taking a deep breath to calm down "but I'm still sorry. "
