"Alright. I have an exercise for you both until our next session. Roddy, try to see if you can willingly disappear from Daniel when he's working on school and general life things. I think generating some space between you two might help you guys get on the same page."

Roddy raised an eyebrow in confusion but went along with it. "Okay, I can do that. I think. I can try, at the very least."

"Alright, hello again. Why don't we start off today by telling me how you did on last week's exercise?"

Rodney bit his lip with a sigh. "It was…weird. And it was less of me making myself disappear and more of Danny making me disappear. Regardless, it was a weird sensation."

Dan repeated Roddy's words. "Good, good. Can you try again right now, Daniel?" The therapist asked gently. Daniel glanced at Roddy before putting him out of view and simply… letting go.

And with that Roddy disappeared. It wasn't painful or anything, just a slow fade from existence like he was closing his eyes to sleep.
