(my reasoning would be that it probably has to do with the fact that he has gumshoe around him and gumshoe would definitely remind him to eat something. he'd be like "sir it's been days please eat an apple or something." either that or he just has healthier (is that even the right word??) eating patterns. also like i feel that Franziska will get super focused on something and will completely forget to eat and sleep and only does it because her body is so close to collapsing and the first time it happened she did not enjoy it)

As soon as they were separated, Franziska looked down at her hands, which awkwardly fiddled with her whip. She was visibly embarrassed, blushing during the, in her eyes, tense silence. What do people do after hugging? Do they act like it never happened?? What’s the next step??? She had this horribly uncomfortable feeling in her chest. She wanted it to leave.
Joel's throat tightens slightly. "Then. . . can you help me find someone who is?"
