Yuuka's eyes scan the list each time she moved further and further down more dread started to built up inside her. Please, no, please. The 19th spot Yuuka, Ayami, she ranked second to last. I could have been kicked out. All that hard work would have been for nothing. After everything these stupid tests could have destroyed my future.

Inima ranked first overall. Of course she did. Out of everyone here she was the most experienced.

Murdock frowned down at his broken equipment. Some of it had been totally bashed because he had miscalculated a lot of adjustments, and he made a mental note to improve the machinery as soon as he got home

"God that was too close for comfort," Yuuka whispered to her self.

"What place did you get?" Murdock asked, scanning the scoreboard for Yuuka's name

Inima fiddled with her collar again. School would be over soon, that meant going home. Which meant the government, and that meant a risk of being exposed.

"19th, these tests din't play to any of my strengths," Yuuka confessed, "If there had only been a combat trial or even an obstacle corse, I would have done much better."

"Really? I got 10th, but that's because half my equipment broke," he said, gesturing to his damaged shin guard and one of his gloves. "Had it been something like combat, I probably wouldn't have done very well. It's not exactly my strong suit."

"Good thing I helped your ankle then," She joked a little, "The side step test alone could have dropped you a few places."

Murdock shrugged. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Though it certainly didn't help when I tripped and faceplanted at the end," he chuckled

"Very true," She nodded, "But you still placed really well, so everything turned out alright."

He shrugged. "Yeah, guess you're right."

"Ikuko, on the other hand, took third," she shook her head, "I didn't actually think he had learned to use his work in so many ways."

Inima noticed a few students staring at her. She looked down at the ground and rubbed her arm.

"Yeah. Guess you gotta be good to get into UA." Murdock looked up at the scoreboard, skimming through the names. "I know I could have done better if my quirk didn't have so many side effects," he said, frowning a small bit

"Yeah, everyone who is here deserves to be here," she looked at everyone.

18th place. Her quirk had been effective, but it had rendered her useless afterwards. Tsuki groaned and leaned back in her seat. She had to work harder. Train harder. Be stronger.

"Eleventh," Andrei exclaimed with some surprise. "I had myself pegged for fifteenth at least. Guess I'm just cooler than I thought." He looked around at the others' faces, their reactions ranging from distraught to accepting to just as shocked as he felt. It was crazy, really, to have a number put to his abilities. It made him feel like he was worth a bit less, actually - now that he was one of many numerical figures struggling to the top.

"Hey, that's pretty good," Murdock told Andrei, smiling a little. "We're right next to each other on the scoreboard."

Inima didn't know how to comfort those lower than her. She didn't know anything about this stuff. So she stayed quiet and stared at her feet.

She ran over her new training regimen in her head. Practice that new move you've been working on. Try to stop from getting hurt. Use your power as much as you can. Tsuki nodded to herself and bit back tears. Her father would've been so disappointed in her.

Yuuka gently nudges Tsuki, "Hey good job, you beat me," she paused, "and I really am sorry about earlier."

"Don't be. And if it had been a true battle, you would've totally destroyed me." Tsuki grinned to cover up her pain. "I'm working on my quirk. I'll get better with practice. Maybe if I can keep my pain level down, I could have a chance of becoming an actual superhero."

Yuuka smiled, and put her hand on Tauki's shoulder. After a second a few of the worst wounds started to close, but at the same time bruises and a few cuts started to form on Yuuka, "Think of this as an olive branch." She retracted her hand, "Sorry I can get rid of more, but any more damage and I might have to take on some higher level wounds."

"Thanks. But please, don't take my wounds. I have to deal with them myself. How else will I be strong?" Tsuki puffed her bangs away from her eyes.

"Maybe I need to get stronger too, I was ranked second to last." Yuuka smiled, "And to be honest I kind of did this out of curiosity to see how much damage your quirk does." Yuuka sighed, "But I won't do it without permission again."

Andrei laughed, nudging Murdock's arm with his elbow. "Since I'm awesome now, I get to say that it was a fluke that you got the higher place. At any rate, great job."
He cast his eyes over to Inima, standing alone, and called out to her. "'Nima! You rocked it!"
