Silver reached into the night stand for a collar he's been working on as a counter measure of this happening so she could talk and he put it around the wolf's neck "there now try" he said

"one second" he said and messed with a dial "there now try it should work clearly now"

"I love you too" Silver said

“Im sorry.. I would have stayed longer had you not picked me up..”

"What can I say… I needed a reference all that was wrong is that you got shot in the head of which I can model easily but the rest of your body not so much from memory" he said

“No babe. I could hear the kids until you picked me up, I had to hurry to find this body..”

"how did me picking you up effect you hearing our kids" Silver said wanting it explained to him

“ brain stem. “ she said simply. “You kinked it..”

"a bullet kinked it… you getting shot was my fault I should've been paying closer attention" he said

Hiro sneezed, cuddling closer to him “ yah..”

Silver sighed and wiped his face "c'mon seriously" he said as glass breaking was heard

Hiro jumped up, racing to the sound and growling hellishly

Silver followed with his pistol "go check on the kids" he said breaking off from Hiro into the kitchen

Silver looked around for that cause of the broken window

Zero shot up at the sound of glass breaking and hopped off the top bunk and sat Infront of the door to stop anything from entering

Hiro tried to open the door, barking softly

"mom?" Zero called out making sure not to wake his sister

“ it's me baby.”. She said, using the collar

Zero opened the door about the time that happened Silver found a ticking bomb that had been wired somewhat correctly ready to blow so he picked it up and tossed it only for shrapnel to go into his right shoulder doing minimal damage to the house

Hiro protected her children, growling devilishly

After Silver stood back up and coughed from the smoke "You guys are fine to come out" he said through grunts of pain from him digging out the pieces of metal in his shoulder
