He turned on the monitor, the program he was running to hack into the satellite was still running fine. He opened the survalince he had around the town, watching for anything abnormal, the alarms went off when a non undead thing passed.
“ what was that?” Felix asked
"not sure, something living passed my sensors" he muttered.
“..” Felix grabbed his gun
"dude, what if its a cat?" he grinned, his eyes not leaving the screen.
“ oh really~ a cat over a dog?”
"cats would eat my dead body before the undead" He shrugged.
“ okaay?”
"sorry, yeah I like both"
“ well either way let's go find out.” he said
"lead the way"
Felix chuckled and walked out
He followed felix.
The man walked carefully with Casey, watching corners and alleys
Casey noisily walked behind Felix, having no care if something heard them.
Felix turned to look at Casey “any louder, don't think the zombies heard ya”
Casey blew a kiss, "I have a beeper ill be fine"
Felix smiled, his face flushing slightly

A small dog, a puppy fell out of a box it was trying to crawl into.
Felix jumped, startled by the sudden appearance “ oh wow..” he said softly “ how convenient “
Casey picked up the puppy, "are you undead?"
Felix scoffed “ it wouldn't have rocked your alarms “
He rolled his eyes, "I could eat you" he told the dog
“ We should keep him, he looks hungry”
"you can take care of him" he handed the dog to Felix.
“ hi buddy!” he said happily
Casey rolled his eyes and walked back, "you got your dog"
