"Why not? Why should we leave?"

"I dont know how soon though…" Tezia hadnt heard him and was off in her own world

"Get your things together. I'm going downstairs to sound the silent alarm, and then we'll leave. There's another safehouse downtown we can go to until we lose them."

"Alright then, we'll just leave now then." She glanced back at the two and let the shields disappear back into her mindscape.

Kaden returned to Kaz side and cupped his cheek. He kissed his lips softly. "Are you okay?" He asked softly.

(np) Kaz nodded, laughing a little. "Of course I'm okay," he said, pecking Kaden on the lips again. "But we need to get our things so we can swap safehouses just in case."

"I guess the bedroom will have to wait awhile longer." He said and kissed his head softly. "Go pack your things."

Kaz chuckled. "Okay, mom," he said before turning to go back to his room and pack his things

He grabbed his jacket and made sure all of his weapons were still on him. He sat on a bar stool and waited.

Kaz came back a moment later, fully dressed and a large duffel bag slung over his shoulder. He sat down next to Kaden, waiting for the others to get ready

Kaden immediately pulled Kaz against his side when he sat down.

Kaz smiled, leaning against Kaden. "Man. Just got home and I've gotta leave again." He grinned up at Kaden. "At least I've got you know."

"We'll come back, when it's safe again." He said. He leaned his cheek on his head and sighed softly.

"Yeah. We'll need a car to get downtown though, since I've only got a motorcycle," Kaz said, snuggling more into Kaden's side

"I saw a nice SUV outside. Won't take that long to hot wore it." He said.

Kaz rolled his eyes. "I'll just call for a cab from the hotel. I'm friends with the manager so he probably won't mind sending a shuttle after us."

He pouted. "But it's a really nice car. No one will know it was us." He said.

"Really? Because there's a psychic grandma on the top floor and her grandson pours lava out of his hands. No thanks," he laughed

Tezia hadnt moved and was looking off in the distance

"Hey" Grey reached out and gripped Tezia's shoulder firmly. "We need to leave."

Tezia jumps, almost slapping Grey's hand away

She quickly pulled her hand back. "We're leaving. Do you need to grab anything before we head out?"

Tezia looks around shakes her head no but picks up the cold biscuit from the floor as she stands

"Alright then, I'll grab Malachi and we can get the hell out of here. You're gonna be fine." She gently put her hand on Tezia's shoulder. "I promise."

Tezia huffs but nods, "Just be quick…"

Grey walked over to Malachi and coaxed him into her arms. She walked back over to Tezia, carrying Malachi.
