neva had tried to do her hair, but it was just a messy bun at this point and she had just given up. she was sitting down and signing papers
Farah smiled in her direction. Seeing how busy her girlfriend - rather, fiancée – was, the headmistress resigned to not speaking and sitting down at her own desk.
neva never really looked up, jumping when someone entered.
Farah looked up too. "Saul," she greeted, lowering her hands beneath her desk. As much as it pained her, she slipped Neva's engagement ring off her finger before she stood up.
"Hello, Farah," he said, glancing at the protégé's desk. "Neva."
" silva." she said back and went back to her paperwork
"Farah, may I speak to you in private?" Saul asked.
The headmistress had a feeling she knew what this would be about. She looked over at Neva and nodded. "Step out for a moment, please Neva."
neva seemed a little shocked but nodded " yes ma'am." she said and walked out
Farah used her magic to shut the door behind Neva. "What would you like to speak about, Saul?" she asked, sitting back down at her desk.
"Farah, I have a rather… unprofessional question to ask you."
She arched her eyebrow. "Yes?"
neva didnt dare listen, knowing shed grow more mad ( mmm she waking in on shit XD)
"Would you be interested in going to dinner with me sometime? Outside of work."
Farah knew this was coming, so she was prepared. Ever since Neva had told her that Saul asked about her relationship status, she'd been thinking of what to say should he ask her out.
"I'm very sorry, Saul, but I don't think of you that way."
neva sighed, pacing outside. four minues.. five minutes she was growing worried
"Oh, I… I see. Well, thank you for entertaining the idea of me," he replied, winking playfully.
Farah laughed and shook her head. The pair were still very good friends. "You can let Neva back in now. I know she has lots of work to do."
"Of course." Saul turned and opened the door to Neva pacing, which he interpreted incorrectly. "Don't worry, I didn't touch any of your work," he teased lightly.
" thank you." she said and gave a curt nod before walking back in.
Saul smiled warmly, nodded once again to Farah, and left, shutting the door behind him.
"No need to treat him so coldly," Farah addressed Neva with a quirked eyebrow. She slipped her ring back on.
neva immediately hugged farah, " i didn't," she said simply
Farah hugged her in response, gently rubbing her back to calm her. "Darling, you were so anxious it was difficult for me to hold a conversation with him, and when he held the door open for you, you were terribly blunt."
" because i knew his intentions." she said.
"It doesn't matter what his intentions were," Farah murmured. "As long as you trust me, everything will be fine."
" i trust you, if i didn't you would know me the way you do." she said
"Yes, well… that's very true," Farah murmured, lowering her lips onto Neva's
neva kissed back, listing for anyone approaching.
Farah sighed in Neva's mouth. "But I refused him – politely, of course. But we're still friends, so I must ask that you at the very least try to treat him nicely."
"yes ma'am." she said and lowered her head a bit.
Farah's lithe fingers tilted Neva's chin up. "What's wrong, dearest?"
" i just hate how we have to hide. i wanna cuddle and love on you all day long but we never have time.."
Farah's eyes softened and she smiled sadly. "I know. I'd love nothing more than that. But because of my past and the image we both have to maintain now…"
neva nodded in understanding, placing a kiss to farahs neck
Farah's eyes fluttered closed. Neck kisses practically melted her in Neva's arms.
neva nipped, not leaving a mark. " mine." she mumbled
Farah whined softly. Her hands work their way down to Neva's hips and squeezed them erotically. "Mine."
