The bushes rattled behind Connie. She jumped away, thinking she picked up her notebook. A gypsy ran at her. She tapped her phone instead and picked Azazal's Whisker. She blared the loud screeching cat noises at the man. His temple bled and he ran, covering his battered ears.

Another couple gypsies come into the clearing, holding a knife. Echo immediately stands up and uses her magic to pull them forward with one hand and push them back into a tree with the other. A hard look fills her eyes as she does this and the grass around her dies including a nearby tree.
