Eiji nodded and ruffled Aiki's hair. "Yeah. We shouldn't have left you, Ai. It's not your fault, alright?" Aiki nodded quietly, still embarrassed and tense with discomfort.

Farah rubbed his back and used a bit of her magic to calm him down. "You're okay," she murmured.

Aiki relaxed somewhat with the magic, and moreso when Eiji added his own magic to the mix. "I'm probably just overreacting… I-I dunno why it even upset me anyway… it's like it brought me back somewhere, but I can't think of anything that I might be brought back to." They sighed.
(Since Farah sorta removed that fun past event from his memory so it's real foggy asfhjk)

"It's best to let the past stay in the past," Farah remarked simply, not giving any more hints as to where he might have been remembering it from."

"Yeah, I guess so…" Aiki sighed again and Eiji nodded, clearly oblivious. "Mhmm. No use dwelling on the past, especially when you don't remember it. Now, we should probably get home so we can get some sleep…"

"Very true," Farah agreed. "If you forgot something, it wasn't worth remembering in the first place. And sleep sounds wonderful."

"Mm…" Aiki yawned and followed alongside Farah and Eiji. He was still pretty quiet, but moreso because they were tired now. Soon, they made it back home.

Farah sighed and set all her books down. "Thank you for helping me carry all of these," she said with a wide grin.

"Mhmm…" Aiki nodded a bit and set down the books he was holding as well. Eiji did the same. "Well… I guess we'll see you in the morning. C'mon, Ai." Eiji waved to Eve and pulled Aiki away.

FARAH nodded. “See you!” she remarked. She went into her room and sighed.

Saul? She didn’t get an immediate response. Odd.

Aiki and Eiji got ready for bed, and they didn't really talk much since they were both tired. They soon fell asleep and awoke early to get ready.

Farah woke the next morning and sighed. She longed for Saul next to her. She missed the feel of him.

Aiki and Eiji seemed to be in better spirits in the morning and were chatting with each other idly while they ate breakfast.

Farah came downstairs and smiled at the brothers talking. "What's all the fuss?" she asked warmly.

The twins looked up in unison when Farah arrived, their ears perking up. They broke formation when Aiki moved to answer Farah's question. "We're gonna do joint projects in class with my class and Eiji's! So obviously ours is gonna be the best."

Farah smiled at the sight of Aiki more happy than she'd seen him in days. "Sounds exciting," she encouraged.

Aiki and Eiji nodded, the former more enthusiastically than the latter. "We're supposed to train together and prove why it's important for fighters and healers to work in tandem. We're really good at that. Do you wanna help? Or watch or something, I dunno."

"Sure," Farah agreed. "I'll help if you'd like me to, though I'm not sure how much help I would be."

"Yeah, I dunno, but we'll be doing it either way." Aiki shrugged. "You could pretend to be an enemy or something! And we could practice working together."

Farah nodded. "Alright… well, why don't you come at me first then?"

"Alright!" Aiki lowered their stance and glanced over to Eiji, who did the same and shifted off to where he was more off to the side to support his twin. After a moment of standing, Aiki darted forward, drawing on his own energy to manifest fire in his hands.

Farah nimbly dodged his advance, but she didn't counter with anything just yet.

Expecting Farah to dodge, Eiji darted around her other side in her blind spot, keeping her from being able to retreat to give Aiki the opportunity to start surrounding her with fire. They didn't want to hurt her, of course, so trapping her seemed to be the most feasible way to say they won.

Farah made sure she was aware of both brothers and began to conjure magic at her fingertips.

Eiji quickly made his way to Aiki's side and gave him an extra burst of energy so their flames would be stronger. Aiki's capabilities definitely seemed to be much higher with his twin backing them up, even just to put their mind at ease. Aiki circled Farah, flames rising around her.

Farah winced and coughed a bit at the smoke that gradually began to fill her lungs. She lifted a hand and used her own magic to call a light drizzle down on the fire.

Aiki hissed at the water and continued, steadily draining their energy to keep the flames going. Eiji was growing fatigued with helping him as well, and soon, both twins were looking a bit pale and dizzy.
