"I promise I won't go away again." Calla nodded at him, knowing that he was smiling and feeling a bit better. She smiled as well, eyes lighting up.

Lila looked at him. She said nothing, if she was here. They might all be in danger. Maybe tomorrow she would head back to the North Sector, it would be safer for her there.

“Good girl. You can go out, just make sure Avi or myself is with you, okay?” Ronan asked.

Faye looked over at Lila from where she was sitting, a frown on her lips. Lila didn’t seem as happy as she had been before. She snapped her fingers to get her attention, motioning for her to come over.

"Uh-huh. Or Calibie! Or Orilion?" she sat down next to him.

Avi slipped back into the house, panting slightly. She looked slightly roughed up, smears of dirt and possibly blood on her arms. “Hey, I’m back,” she said.

Lila saw Faye and walked over to her, "What?"

Ronan resisted the urge to tell her no, but felt relieved when Avi came in. He frowned though, at her appearance. “That isn’t your blood, right?” He asked cautiously.

Faye looked up at Lila from her spot. She gave a slight smile. “Sit,” she said patting the floor next to her.

Lila sat down, "What is it?"

"Blood? Where?" Calla turned, looking around wildly.

“You seem kind of, I don’t know, off? Are you okay?” Faye asked, looking over at Lila. She knew that she had just asked her new friend that question a short time ago, but she could never be too sure.

"Blood? Where?" Calla turned, looking around wildly.

“Don’t worry about it Calla. I think Avi’s meal gave her a little problem,” Ronan said, giving her hand a squeeze.

“No, no,” she said hastily. “I only got a few scratches. None deep enough to draw blood.”

"Just thinking," Lila shrugged, "I'm fine."

Ronan frowned. He stood up, tugging Avi aside, not wanting Calla to hear. He didn’t want her to worry. “How were you cut? Did someone have iron?”

Faye hummed, brow furrowed in concern. “You’re sure? Because I’m always here for you if you need to talk.”

Calla sat on the cot, touching the pillows. Ronan had said they were orange. What a funny word.

"Yeah I'm sure," Lila nodded, "I'm just thinking about the groups safety."

“Well what about it? I’m sure we are all perfectly safe here, right?” Faye said, crossing her legs.

“Yeah,” she admitted, eyes on Calla. “I guess everyone’s getting warier.”

"The South Sector isn't the best place for me," Lila sighed, "My mom and I got chased out by a bunch of angry monsters. I'm worried that since I'm back they'll be back."

Ronan frowned softly, glancing over Avi’s arms. “I would assume. Now that the humans and creatures know that three Sunai are on the loose, they will be keeping themselves guarded. We should probably go out to feed in groups. If either of you got hurt…”

“You really think they would remember you?” Faye asked in a concerned tone, frowning softly.

Lila shrugged and laughed a little, "I don't know. For all I know they could all be dead and I'm just over thinking."

“We’ll be fine,” she said, as if trying to convince herself too. “Stay in groups. Keep our senses sharp. Keep ourselves safe.”

Ronan hummed and nodded. “We can go back out once it’s light out. It’ll be safer,” he said.

Faye laughed softly and shrugged as well. “Probably. I wouldnt worry about it too much. That just gives unneeded stress.”

"Yeah," Lila nodded, "My mind plays a thousand bad scenarios and one good scenario."

“I don’t know if it’s entirely safe for us to just go in pairs either,” she said slowly, eyes flicking to the little girl again.

“Us three can go out together, have each other’s backs,” Ronan said, running a a hand through his hair anxiously.

“I’m sure it’ll be okay,” Faye said with a soft smile. “We found a nice group. We’re safe here.”

"We really have," Lila smiled back.

Calixto scoffed hearing Faye refer to the group as nice. Sure, someone from every species, one of them being a complete pain. He wanted to mention that Ronan had been nothing but rude, but thought better of it, remembering Calla's speech about how much he meant to her. Ugh, stupid feelings sometimes.
