Angelo shook his head, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand. "No… I mean, I don't think he'll ever come back." He looked to Habiki with fear, sniffing as he rocked Rose a bit more.

Habiki got the idea " he's not going too ahem.. hell come back" he said sternly

Angelo looked down, smoothing Rose's hair as she thought about his troubled friend. "I really hope so. I really do."

Rose slowly blinked her eyes open, filled with heightened senses and strange sensations. She looked around, eyes wide at how different the world seemed

" how do ya feel rose?" Habili said as he slowly gained energy

Rose jumped at the sound of Habiki's voice, which seemed to be louder. "Different…" She muttered

Rose chuckled, getting down and shakily stumbling around.

Angelo laughed. "try shifting."

Rose nodded, closing her eyes as she bent over, but nothing happened

Rose listened, closing her eyes as she shifted, shaking her fur as she stared at herself with bewilderment. I did it!

Rose howled appily, racing around the camp with excitement.

Angelo nuzzled Habiki lovingly, looking into his pale eyes. "God, I love you."

Rose was started, to say the least, but her new animalistic tendencies took the better of her as she started to eat the animal.
