Henri smiled. "That's how I roll!" He wandered over to where Skye was.

“No, you don’t ‘roll’. You tumble, trip, and make a huge mess out of yourself, but you don’t ‘roll’. ‘Rolling’ would imply that you could be smooth.”

"I have heelys smartie!"

Skye choked back another laugh and looked out into the distance. She reached for her ring again but stopped before she actually touched it, her hands hovering in front of her. Shaking her head, she dropped them back to her sides.

"Yo what's with your ring?" Henri asked, pointing. "Not to be rude just wondering."

"Oh, uh, nothing. It's just… a memory…" she replied softly, her voice sounding distant.

"I understand." He nodded. "I have my dad's walkman from way back when with me still."

Skye gave Henri a small smile. "Really? I've never used one of those before. What does it do?" she asked, relieved with the change in topic.

"Plays music dingus." He said shaking his head. He laughed. "I'm sorry! It does play music though." He took out a rather beat up walkman.

Skye laughed a little.

"Oh, cool. What kind of music do you like to listen to?" she asked.

He chuckled. "I kind of jump around. Right now I'm into 80s…."

"Nice. I'd have to say… Disney. All the way," Skye said, smiling.

He nodded. "Good choice! I'm not usually into sappy romance stuff…."

“I like sappy romance stuff.”

Skye rolled her eyes. "I mean, like, the more modern, upbeat Disney music. Though I do enjoy the romance stuff every once in a while."

Henri took out a cassette tape. "Here this is Disney you want it?" He asked Skye.

"Um… I'd love it, honestly, but I actually don't own anything that could play it…" Skye answered.

"Oh well in that case." He pulled rifled through his fanny pack. "Here! How bout this?" He pulled out a newer walkman.

Skye laughed. "You just carry an extra walkman around with you?" She shook her head, smiling. "Sure. I'd love it, thanks," she replied, her voice tinged with laughter.

“How many walkmans do you have?” Victoria asked. “And I like the fanny pack. Manly.”

"Well I got that one to replace this one but I don't really need it." He chuckled. "Also, thank you. It is very handy to have around, Victoria!"

“No problem,” Victoria smiled.

Henri turned and handed the walkman to Skye.

Skye smiled and clipped it onto her front pocket.

“Alright. Shall we keep moving?”

"Yeah, we probably should," Skye agreed, starting to move forward again.
