Kane grunted at this one had collided with his jaw, sending him backwards

Jacob laughed, advancing on Kane. "He's mine, pretty boy."

Avrey yelped in fear. "K-kane!"

" I'm fine," he helped and got to his feet.

Jacob threw another punch, aimed for Kane's gut. "Hell no, you're not."

Kane helped, falling to a knee

Jacob laughed again, delivering another strong blow before grabbing Avrey and starting off

kenji had called it in, making sure to asses that kane was a plain clothed officer.

Jacob took him back to his apartment, which was not far.
Avrey, being weak and dizzy, didn't resist, only protesting with soft sounds of pain as Jacob went hard

the cops had found jacobs house quickly, knocking on the door.

Avrey whined when Jacob stopped, limply panting as he watched the terrible man go to answer to door.
"Who is it? Im busy!"

" blank pd open the door." the cop said

Jacob froze, looking around as he found out he was done for. This had gone too far. "Shit…"

"sir open the door. now" they said

Jacob didn't do anything, just cussed as the paced the floor

" open now and charges will be less."

Jacob threw open the door, trying to block off the view of Avrey. "What do you want? What charges?"

" kidnap, assault on a cop. drug possession, " he listed.

Jacob growled, attempting to run, but being stopped by a cop. "You can't prove any of that!!"

" we have a victim and two eye witnesses "

Jacob slouched where he stood, huffing heavily while glaring. He wouldn't fight. He wasnt stupid enough to fight again.

Avrey groaned from the other room

kane walked up behind them, " avrey!"

Avrey sat up a bit. "K-kane?"

"avrey.." he whimpered a bit and went straight to helping his smaller." A..are you alright?"

Avrey didn't say anything. He just sobbed into Kane's shoulder, holding onto him as tight as he could while he was still weak. "Kane…"

" I'm so sorry avrey. I should have protect you.."

Avrey choked on tears, grasping Kane like he never wanted to let go. "Y-you did… you did. You saved me."

Kane helped avrey get ready to leave. " Next time we're drinking at home "

Avrey chuckled slightly, collapsing onto Kane and closing his eyes. "Yeah…"

Kane lifted avrey, walking out

Avrey was dazed, half asleep as he was carried out by Kane. It felt like it was all an awful dream
