Avrey sighed. "Really? My freshman fifteen can't be that bad." He laughed

kane laughed " suurrreee" he said sarcastically

Avrey folded his arms. "How rude."

" im just joking little red." he smiled and kissed avrey

Avrey laughed, then looked down at his stomach. ''You're not wrong though.'' he chuckled

" then eat as much as you want."

Avrey grinned, glad Kane wasn't like Jacob, who always pestered Avrey to be skinny.
"Oh, you bet I will." He laughed. "So, back to the apartment? Or the park? Or somewhere else?"

" to the apartment. If I see princey again I'm decking him."

Avrey chuckled. "Good. He's really become a jerk." He sighed, opening the doors

" you mean he was nicer?" Kenji asked.

Avrey shrugged, tugging at his jacket. "Well, I mean, he was decent. At least before we started dating… then he got really possessive and wouldn't let me do things, he kept telling me how I should look, what I should eat, how I should act, and he making me do stuff and keeping me away from the few friends I had. It just kept getting worse and worse until I finally snapped and he got mad and threw me out." He sighed.

" woah.. I'm sorry avrey..' Kenji said softly

Avrey shrugged. "It's really fine. I'm just glad I got away, and found you guys." He smiled. "Well, I don't want to ruin a good day, lets have some cake!"

" yeah!" Kane said an served some cake

Avrey eagerly took a few slices, smiling happily at the taste. "Wow, Kane. You made a great decision." He winked

Kane chuckled and sat next to avrey. " I did"

Avrey grinned, taking another bite and sitting back. "So, how old are you turning?"

" 23" he said and sighed " I'm old I know"

Avrey grinned. “What an old man. I should have gotten you a cane.” He joked

kane laughed and kissed avreys forehead " good one "

Avrey chuckled, smiling warmly as he took yet another slice of cake. "So, whats the plan tomorrow?"

" kenji and you head to school, and i go to work." he said.

Avrey sighed. "back to normal, I guess." He said sadly, grabbing another slice. "What kind of stuff do you do at work?"

" mostly patrol, but sometimes i go into busts"

Avrey's eyes went wide. "Damn… I couldn't do what you do." He muttered, finishing off the cake by himself.

kenji chuckled a bit ad threw away the container,

Avrey sighed. "Damn. I'm still hungry." he chuckled, running a hand through his hair.

" how?" kane asked and picked the other up, taking them to the bedroom.

Avrey laughed. "I have no idea." He smiled, leaning into Kane.

" nap sound good? or maybe something else?" he asked
