Angelo yawned and laid his head on Habiki's warm body, starting to snore a bit

Habiki yawned and fell asleep, sleeping soundlessly

Angelo blinked his eyes open, as he stared at his own… hands? shit shit shit…. He quickly tried to shift back

Habiki woke to Angelo's worry you gotta change!

Angelo closed his eyes tightly. I can't!!
He heard the sound of footsteps and ducked behind a couch

Habiki was faking sleep, curling Infront of a black blanket that he'd nustled into the shape of a sleeping dog

Angelo held his breath as he tried to shift, staring at Max from behind the couch.

Max smiled at the dogs… unaware that one was a blanket in the dim light. He strode into the kitchen and began making breakfast

hurry up! He thought and watched as his partner shifted. He when up to max and whined.

Angelo shifted, but more into a werewolf appearance than that of a wolf. He growled, pawing at his face in an attempt to shift more. No… Shit..

Max looked down at the wolf. "You hungry?"

Habiki nodded, jumping up to hold his paws around maxs waist, distracting him from Angelo.

Max chuckled, holding out a strip of bacon for Habiki. "Here you go, Jack. Hopefully your friend wakes up soon"

Angelo bumped into the couch, standing on his hind legs as he breathed heavily.

Max peeked into the other room, squinting as he saw a huge form behind the couch

Angelo turned slightly, eyes gleaming in the light. "…HEY" He said in a layered voice, hunched over as his massive ears flicked.

"Max? What was that?" Rose said from her room

"STAY UPSTAIRS!!" Max shouted, dropping the bacon and taking a step backward. "Holy… motherf… there's no way…"

Habiki quickly read to stand between them "shft!" He helped out and partially shifted. His ears and tail flinched " don't hurt him! He's stuck! " Habiki yelped out.

Max just stared in disbelief, gaze flicking from one werewolf to the other. "What the actual fuck…" He stumbled to the ground, staring up at them with fear.

Angelo tilted his wolf-like head. "Damn, You're not always this jumpy, cielo."

Max's eyes widened as he slowly started to recognize them more

Habiki struggled to shift all the way back. Which he manages " max you can't say anything!" You'll get us killed. Any hunter in a mile radius would pay anything to kill me especially. I know you don't like me and that's fine! But please! Don't hurt Angelo.."

Angelo simply stared in shock, nodding in fear. "Just… j-just don't hurt me." He stammered, staring at Angelo as the other werewolf shifted back as well

Angelo sighed. "We wont. God, I'd never hurt you. Just please. Please keep this between us."

Habiki sighed. He still had his ears and tail for some reason. So he shifted back to his wolf form and put his head in Max's hand I'll stay like this for the small girl.. he thought to both of them

Angelo nodded. "Y-yeah. Yeah. Then I can pretend like I lost him or something, and we can pretend this all never happened." He shrugged

Max nodded. "Okay…"

no! I wanna be there for the kid. She seemed so happy with me.. he whined softlyyou can just bring me everyday, please!,

Max looked up at Angelo, pleading with his eyes. "Really… that was the happiest I've seen her in a long time."

Angelo looked down at Max, then at Habiki, sighing. "God… I, I dunno…"

Habiki sat and continued to paw at the air as he begged. Ill give you another do what ever pass?

Angelo sat on the couch, staring blankly at the ground as he started to tear up. "I… I dont want you to feel like you have to do things like that. I really want you to help her, I really do, I just…." He sniffed slightly. "I dont want to leave you."

Max stared at the both of them with sympathy, finally realizing the connection they had. "We'll figure something out." He said softly to Angelo.

Habiki tugged at Max's sleeve and spoke only to him go, hug him, cuddle him idgaf, just be there. I'll go play with the child

Rose drowsily came down the stairs, rubbing her eyes. "Where's the doggy?" She lt up once she saw Kenji. "Jack!!" He ran down to hug him, then looked up at Angelo. "Who's that?"

Max went to sit by Angelo, rubbing his back. "This is Jack's owner. Jack's real name is Habiki!" He said cheerfully.

Angelo nodded, wiping the tears from his eyes

Rose's expression dropped. "Oh… so, we can't keep him?"

Angelo teared up again, shaking his head. "No. He… He really likes you. I can't really take care of him anyways." He nodded to Max who had a shocked expression. "I can help you pay for him, just… just take really good care of him. Okay?" Tears are flowing freely down his face as he nuzzles Habiki. "He really means a lot to me."

Max shook his head. "Angie…"

Habiki whined Angelo.. no no no.. something wasn't right. Habiki started shivering and pain flooded his body alphas can't abandoned their omegas! He yelped into both their minds
