Aiki's gaze flicked between Eiji and Farah as they tried to silently convey that they didn't want to talk with him there.

@Fraust

Aiki sighed softly and nodded reluctantly, continuing forward behind his brother. They soon arrived at the school and went their separate ways.

Farah waved to Eiji as he left and motioned for Aiki to lead the way to his class. Before she said anything to probe, she wanted to give them a chance to explain.

@Fraust

Aiki still chose not to explain anything. They didn't especially want to spill out all of their negative emotions in the middle of school, after all. His classmates might ask some unpleasant questions.

Farah inhaled slowly. Glancing around, she noticed an empty hallway and guided Aiki down it. Once it was just to two of them, she took his shoulders gently and whispered, "Talk to me."

@Fraust

Aiki seemed very uneasy and reluctant to speak. They typically tried to repress any memories like this so it didn't affect him, so being pushed to talk about it was pretty uncomfortable. "It's nothing…" He whispered weakly, avoiding Farah's eyes.

@Fraust

"I don't think there's any way to help… I-I should be over it by now. It happened years ago, I… this is stupid." Aiki insisted, growing visibly stressed. They definitely wanted to leave and not think about this anymore.

@Fraust

Aiki's ears started to twitch and their tail puffed up, and he seemed very anxious and fidgety. Their breathing quickened, and their hands were shaking. "I c-can't… I don't… d-don't want… s… s-sorry…" He stammered, taking a couple steps backward to try and escape the situation.

@Fraust

Aiki's eyes stung with tears and they cowered against the wall, his knees growing weak. They turned their ears back and looked up at Farah meekly, his gaze shifting in and out of focus.

@Fraust

Aiki slid down the wall and tugged at his collar weakly, their breathing shallow and shaky. He closed his eyes and shook his head a bit. "No, no, no… no…" They whispered. "C-Can't do this right now… I'm g… I'm gonna b-be late for class…"

@Fraust

Aiki flinched when Farah touched him and curled up a bit where they were sitting on the ground, pale and anxious. "D-Don't want… to think about… about it…"

@Fraust

Aiki relaxed somewhat at the magic, but his emotions and memories for the moment were shared with Farah. In their mind, they were trapped. He was sitting on the floor of a dog crate with his hands and feet bound and a muzzle on their face. In the memory, they were crying, staring up at tall, strange looking men holding various instruments, medical or otherwise.

@Fraust

Aiki closed their eyes, trembling weakly against the wall. The memories flickered between Aiki being alone in the middle of the city where he was attacked and taken and the scene in the crate. The men came forward to pull them out of the crate, and they took off his muzzle to grab him by the chin and examine them. They tugged at his ears, looked in his mouth, and poked and prodded them despite their weak protests.

@Fraust

Aiki curled up on the ground, trembling where he lay, and kept their face hidden. They were visibly more distressed as soon as Farah pulled away, and he was having difficulty calming down.

@Fraust

Aiki hesitated before nodding weakly, drawing their arms up to shield their face. His ears were drooping over his face as well, as was their hair.

Farah gently let her fingers brush their skin, and immediately, she let him remember the joyous feelings that had powered his positive thinking yesterday during their practice. She'd seen and remembered each moment, and now, she broadcast them into the forefront of Aiki's mind.

@Fraust

Aiki relaxed a bit, their breath shuddering from the sudden change in the emotion of his memories. With the memories from yesterday coming to the forefront of their mind, it was difficult to avoid glimpses of burning himself as well.

@Fraust

After a minute or two, Aiki looked up at Farah weakly, their eyes still shining with tears. He was exhausted and still somewhat stressed, and their heart was racing, and their cheeks were blotchy from crying while his face was obscured.
