Habiki reached to take out his mouth guard " my head hurts.." he whimpered out.
Habiki reached to take out his mouth guard " my head hurts.." he whimpered out.
Angelo quickly picked up Habiki, heading toward the locker rooms. “It’s okay, just relax for now. I’ll get you taken care of.”
Max scowled and continued hitting the puck again, not saying anything to the two
Habiki watched max" mmm.. what the hell happened.. " he asked and
Looked up at Angelo. His mind really was blank of anything other then the fear he felt when his skates slipped
Angelo sat down on a bench? Taking off his skates as he tried to hold Habiki with one arm. “You got knocked over by that little shit. Your head hit the wall and…” Angelo tried to keep the fear out of his voice. “You’ll be fine. You’re gonna be okay.”
Habiki heard the coach run I. " What the hell happened " he asked while taking habiki in. " He's not seriously hut. Thank God. "
Angelo continued holding Habiki, not letting anyone else touch him. “Max hit him.” He growled. “What can I do?”
" let him sleep it off, I don't think he's cuncust. But make sure he gets plenty of sleep. It's the best thing for him. I'll talk to max about not hitting a ungeared player. I don't think habiki was planning on getting checked that hard "
Angelo nodded, taking off Habiki's gear and his own as he grabbed his keys. Even though it didn't seem bad, it wouldn't hurt to get him checked out. He tilted his head to the coach, "Is it alright if I take him to an instacare or something?"
" if you think it's need Angelo. You are the caption." He said with a soft smile and walked out to go get max.
Habiki tried to stand up, stumbling till he could grab the wall
Angelo quickly picked him up again. "No. Im carrying you whether you like it or not." He said with a slight smirk, trying to stay optimistic. He quickly walked to his car, setting Habiki carefully in the passenger seat and heading toward the nearest medical center.
Habiki watched Kenji " your an arss I'm fine." He said
Angelo laughed as he turned onto the freeway. "God, Habiki. You hit your head harder than I thought"
" what do you mean?" He asked and played with his collar absentmindedly
Angelo chuckled as he squinted against the sunrise. ''Nothing…'' He turned onto the exit and checked his phone for the directions
Habiki watched the sunrise " you can't see that in Japan's city.." he said softly
Angelo laughed again, finding a parking space and quickly opening the passenger door to pick up Habiki. ''really? Is it that crowded there?"
" yeah, yeah it is," he said and laid his head on Angelo.
Angelo brought Habiki in, ignoring stares and checking them in at the desk. He sat down on a couch in the waiting area, gently stroking Habiki's hair
Habiki pulled out his phone, watching YouTube. He kept his eyes away from the stares
Angelo sighed, tilting his head at Habiki's phone as he occasionally looked up for a doctor. "Im sorry that happened." He mumbled.
" " Angelo your fine. Accidents happen" he said and kissed softly on the others neck. " Ill be alright."
Angelo huffed, running his hands down Habiki's sides. "Sure. Accident." He mumbled. A young nurse entered the room with a clipboard, glancing over the room. "Habiki?" She said shakily, wondering if she pronounced it right
Habiki stood shakily and walked to the nurse " you said it right," he said to her and followed her back.
Angelo quickly trailed behind as the nurse led them into a room. "You can have a seat here." She gestured to a fancy looking chair in the middle of the room, as Angelo took one of the regular chairs against the wall. "Now can you explain what exactly happened?" She asked Habiki.
" i- I believe I got checked real hard. I remember not putting on my helmet.. racing and one of my teammates checked me, my head hit the ice real hard and the next thing I knew I was waking up on the edging of the rink" he said and looked down at his hands
The nurse nodded, jotting some notes down on the clipboard. "Any pain?" Angelo watched intently, tapping his foot with nervousness
" just where I hit my head" he said, habikis worried scent floated around him. He couldn't be taken out right before their first game
Angelo discreetly sniffed the air, sensing his worry. The nurse simply nodded and grabbed a light from off the rack of medical instruments. He quickly shone it in both of Habiki's eyes giving a soft sigh. "Good. There's no signs of concussion, but you are at risk for one if you continue to get injuries like that. I would recommend wearing your helmet." Angelo sighed, an the nurse then turned to him. "What relation do you have to the patient?" Angelo looked nervously at Habiki, then the nurse. "F-friend." He mumbled.
Habiki flinched almost unnoticed. Friends? I don't think friends know how you taste he thought and looked to the nurse " so I'm free to go?"
Angelo read Habiki's intentions and blushed, looking down at the floor. The nurse shook her head slightly. "Not quite. We're still going to run a quick test to make sure there's nothing wrong, and then I need your friend's name and number, along with yours, in case we do find something that needs to be taken care of." She says softly. "Sound okay?"
