Skunkstripe nodded. "An apprentice? nice."
The large she-cat shrugged at Mistpaw's question. "It's alright." she gave quite the basic answer, though she didn't mean to sound rude. "It's not where I was born, but it's starting to become home."

Mistpaw started to reply, but was interrupted by Squirrelstar's greeting. She looked up as the RiverClan leader made her way to the tree. "I've got to go back to my Clanmates." She said, turning back to Skunkstripe. "I'll see ya around!" With that, she padded away to find Owlheart.

"Swiftpaw, Springpaw, Ravenpaw, and Stormpaw! WindClan's new apprentices!" Swiftstar joked. She and Springheart turned towards each other to quietly giggle at Squirrelstar's antics. The evening felt light and the air full of happy energy but Swiftstar couldn't help herself from glancing at the clouded sky, much like many others that night.

"The gathering will start soon, Squirrelstar likes to start it almost as soon as she arrives." She said, watching the large ginger she-cat stride through the crowd towards the tree.

Hawkwillow whined as Barkclaw started to push him towards the group of warriors but started walking there on his own with minimal force. He looked over his shoulder, "Please come with me-"

While searching for Flamepaw, Squirrelstar announced her clan's arrival, and Vixenpaw found himself distracted. They watched as RiverClan spread out, looking for the clan's medicine cat or an apprentice to talk to. He found RiverClan interesting. As they had been the least involved in the fight against ThunderClan, they hadn't heard much about them. A group of young cats caught his eye and he went to join them. Among them was a small patched tom he immediately felt his eyes be drawn to.

Flamepaw's ear flicked when he saw all the cats in one place. He was excited yet a little hesitant to talk with other cats. No need to be scared…We have a peaceful truce tonight. Well, until the moon goes down. He realized that every other cat had started chatting with each other while he was alone. Flamepaw noticed His father, Shadowstar, walk over to the tree stump, talking to the other cats. He looked around, trying to locate his friends through all the cats. He saw Mintpaw talking to some Riverclan Apprentices and looked around some more. He spotted Mistpaw and Flicked his tail in embarrassment. The last time they saw each other it didn't end well.

@PastelTart

Mistpaw sat next to Owlheart, looking around to see if she could spot anyone else she knew in the other Clans. Her gaze landed on Flamepaw, and she froze. The last time they had seen each other had been… not so great. Still, however, she made her way toward him.

@JustALostM book

Flamepaw flicked his tail, seeing Mistpaw walking up to him. Just…Don't bring anything up about before. Nothing can go wrong either way.. Flamepaw thought smiling at Mistkit.

@PastelTart

Mistpaw stopped just a few steps in front of Flamepaw, giving him a soft smile. "Hey." She said, flicking her tail. She was nervous, but more than anything, she was happy to see him again. She pushed the day's events from her mind, instead focusing on him. That cat that had helped her, Stormpaw, and Vixenpaw find ShadowClan. Her friend. The cat that she…

(I'm not gonna say it. Not yet.)

@JustALostM book

Flamepaw stood there awkward, Not knowing what to say. He just stared at her for a good minute. The longest minute that felt like a moon. "So…How have you been? And How are Vixenpaw and…Stormpaw? I never did say sorry." He shook his head.

@PastelTart

"They're doing good." Mistpaw replied. "I think Stormpaw's still a bit upset, though." She sat, curling her tail over her paws. "Anyway, how are you doing? I've really missed you."

@Spring-was-resurrected-electric-boogalo

I'm getting my reply up real soon. Stormpaw's just being- Stormpaw. I wanna give him a ghost interaction bc its a gathering, a lot of cats. Maybe he even confuses a StarClan cat as a real cat bc its dark or something, idk. but idk smh. Springheart cusses Whitestar out in her thoughts tho so that's fun lol ANYWAYS— my reply will be up shortly lol //

🕺🕺🕺 LETS GOO this is finally done HAHA //

Mistpaw started to reply but was interrupted by Squirrelstar's greeting. She looked up as the RiverClan leader made her way to the tree. "I've got to go back to my Clanmates." She said, turning back to Skunkstripe. "I'll see ya around!" With that, she padded away to find Owlheart.

Skunkstripe twitched her tail, giving a quiet goodbye.
Now she sat alone. The dark pelted molly gazed around, many cats interacting during the peaceful truce.
It was only a few moments when suddenly a cat called her name and sat down beside her. Skunkstripe gazed over as Mothflight, a greyish she-cat, and one of her mates, Blueblaze, a blue tom with shocking red stripes, both sat down beside her.
It wasn’t long before Mothflight started a simple conversation with her.

"The gathering will start soon, Squirrelstar likes to start it almost as soon as she arrives." She said, watching the large ginger she-cat stride through the crowd towards the tree.

Springheart let out a small, “huh.” it wasn’t confused sounding, a little amazed if she was being honest.
“She’s still like that? I mean, it's nice to know that not much has changed with me being stuck in the nursery and all.” she chuckled, “And, she really seems to be excited. Perhaps her kits finally became warriors?” She remembered the big battle, one of Squirrelstar’s kits, Milkpaw, had passed and according to witnesses, was unfortunately killed by Whitestar's claws.

’That fox-hearted, snake-tongued, kit killer… He’s rotting in the darkest corners of the dark forest… I just know it.'
Springheart watched forced her fur to lie flat at the thought. Watching as Squirrelstar talked with Grovethorn, who sat where the deputies sat between the large, gnarled roots of the tree the leaders sat on.
Squirrelstar smirked before she dipped her head respectfully. She turned away as her deputy, Silversong, sat next to Grovethorn. Squirrelstar, despite her age, didn’t even seem to struggle as she leaped high and took her spot beside Shadowclaw. Well, Shadowstar?
Springheart assumed he was now Shadowstar.

Hawkwillow whined as Barkclaw started to push him towards the group of warriors but started walking there on his own with minimal force. He looked over his shoulder, "Please come with me-"

Barkclaw opened his maw to speak before he sighed, nodding. He stood up and padded next to his littermate, “alright, lead the way, you love-struck mouse.” he purred teasingly.

Stormpaw was walking around the gathering, Squirrelstar had made her entrance very clear, but he was eager and determined to make some new friends from all the clans before the gathering ended.
He had befriended a couple of RiverClan apprentices, Shypaw and Pondpaw. Pondpaw was very energetic and just like his name suggested, Shypaw was quite shy. Stormpaw hadn’t even heard the curly-furred speak the entire time he had talked to the two sleek-pelted apprentices.

He sighed as he neared a corner of the island and sat down, he had a pretty good view of the gathering, many groups of cats sat together talking. All of the clans were mingling together and ShadowClan was the topic of every conversation within earshot.
’Maybe I’ll make friends with a ShadowClan apprentice!’ The dark brown tabby tom thought excitedly. He gazed around, maybe he could befriend the gray molly he saw walking beside Gingerflake? He looked around the island, trying to find some young-looking cat to talk to. Even a young warrior would work, for StarClan’s sake! Then he paused, suddenly feeling worried.

What if he ended up talking to a cat that wasn’t even real? He shook his head, letting out a quiet sigh. He didn’t want to risk it.. he already did it once, a couple of times really, but the most recent time was a couple of days ago.
He was eating a rabbit right before bed as he had been on patrols all day and he was starving.
He remembered what the cat looked like. It was a dark-furred tom with long limbs and black tabby striped legs.
Stormpaw had pushed the sandy-brown rabbit towards the long tom and said that he could finish it, the tom just looked at him and Stormpaw repeated himself. It was only seconds later that the tom had disappeared into thin air, and Stormpaw realized it was another spirit.

The WindClan tabby could only huff at the memory; maybe he could hang out with Mistpaw, or some other cat. Maybe he would visit the RiverClan apprentices again. ‘ask how fish tasted.
