Jonathan’s eyes shot open when someone came in and Kera snapped. He simply sighed and closed his eyes again. He just wanted a quiet moment, but it would probably be a moment because of his dumbshit move of blurting out everything. Oh well, shit happens, and the others would just have to deal with it.

Edgar turned, watching Boris curiously.

Boris froze at Kera’s words, having no idea how to react. He rubbed his bald head, trying to think of a way to remove the tension. Though, he did notice how the two were in a hug. He wished he could join, to comfort both of them, but he understood it wasn’t a good time.

“I… um… didn’t mean to intrude. I just… wanted to check on Beta, make sure he was doing okay. It bothers me when my crewmates are blue,”Boris said softly. He didn’t want to mention anything regarding Maxim, just in case that would upset Jonathan more.

Kera lowered her arms. " Its okay, I had to go get something to eat anyway. Haven't eaten all day. " She said and walked past Boris. Kera went into the gallery just to be met by Amelia and keigo " great." She mumbled

Boris watched Kera go, then turned to Jonathan. He moved to lean against the wall, trying to figure out what would be the best thing to say.

Jonathan reluctantly unraveled from Kera and watched her go, sighing sorrowfully. He leaned an arm on his knee and rubbed his temples.

Boris noticed him and sighed.

“I’m not going to pry. Like I said to Kera, I just wanted to check on you. Are you alright?”

“No, Boris. I overheard Bull talking about Max. I see why no one told me how…”Jonathan trailed off, petting Edgar.

Boris sighed, not sure what to say to that.

“I… I know it’s rough, unexplainably so, but if you ever need someone to vent to, or to hug, or whatever, I’m here. And… I don’t mean to seem selfish, but it’s nagging at me. Why didn’t you come to me earlier? We’re pals, and… you didn’t say anything,”Boris asked softly.

“Honestly, I was avoiding it. Up until yesterday when Kera and I started talking. Then…”

“You need another hug?”

“No, I’m good. I just want some quiet.”

“Alright. You want me to leave?”

“No.”

Bull nodded and stayed against the wall. Jonathan continued to pet Edgar, smiling slightly at the contented noises Edgar made.

Amelia glanced over when someone came in, thinking it was Boris. But, it turned out to be Kera. She blinked, not sure how to react to her presence considering all the new information.

Amelia looked back at the table, shaking her head a bit. What should she do? Was there anything she could do?

Kera kept quiet as long as they would. She made herself some more tea and ate a few cookies. She couldn't help but shake. She hated this feeling. Not being able to cry over max, not understand the bond Jonathan had because she been taken away from her closest friend and now, now she remembered last night and tonight. Holding him while he cried over his brother. It killed her.

Amelia periodically looked up to watch Kera, noticing her shaking eventually. She wondered why she was shaking, but there were too many possible reasons to narrow it down.

After a long moment, the silence got to Amelia. She didn’t like these awkward silences.

“Is Jonathan okay? I know Boris went to check on him, but that’s it,”she asked softly, deciding to keep to something simple.

" yeah," she said softly. Staring into her mug. " He should be fine. I'm just giving him some space right now.." she said. Keras snowy blue eyes pricked with tears, though her goldish hair would never let it show.

Amelia nodded a bit, going silent again. Though, after a moment, she remembered something and glanced back at Kera. For some reason, she got the feeling that Kera needed just as much comfort as Jonathan.

“It’s good that he’s doing better. I remember a while back when Jonathan was going through a rough moment. He’d fall asleep on Boris, and Boris would carry him to his room then fall asleep in the chair. Though, I think Boris eventually broke that chair, just because he’s so big,”Amelia mentioned, chuckling at the memories.

Jonathan eventually started dozing off, but he couldn’t truly fall asleep. He remembered last night, and his earlier thought as well, and wondered when Kera would be back.

Kera gave a weak laugh. " Sounds like their close." She said softly. A few of her tears dropped into her mug, though kera wiped her eyes and turned to go back to Jonathan " I should get back to him. Thanks for the talk Amelia " she said and walked on to her favorite person's room. By now her eyes were a bit red but she only hoped Jonathan would look past it.

Amelia chuckled,”Yeah. Boris is… I guess, the ‘shoulder to cry on’ for everybody, and during our first handful of years as a crew, Jonathan needed that shoulder a bit more than the rest of us.”

Amelia noticed Kera shift in a way that seemed like she was wiping her eyes, then nodded and watched her leave. She stared at the door for a long moment, even more lost now than she had been.

Jonathan watched as Edgar went to play with his toys. He repeatedly contemplated lying down, but it just didn’t feel right.

Bull watched Edgar as well, smiling softly. He glanced periodically at Jonathan, but he had the feeling that he would be alright for now, particularly if he ended up falling asleep. A nap had always seemed to cheer Jonathan up.

Kera nocked on the door " coming to claim at least half the bed.." she joked

Jonathan perked up at the knock, a chuckle escaping him at the joke. Boris noticed his reaction and straightened, opening the door.

“I suppose I’ll take my leave then,”Boris commented lightly.

“Thanks for the company, Boris,”Jonathan said.

Boris turned,”Anytime. You know I’m here for you if you ever need me.”

Jonathan nodded appreciatively, then watched Boris politely slip past Kera and head back to his room. Jonathan then turned to Kera, smiling softly and sliding over so she had plenty of room on the bed.

“I missed ya,”he said, only half joking.

Kera giggled softly. She moved to lay under the blankets and snuggled up to Jonathan's chest. With her head just sat his collar bone and her arms around him, kera fell asleep quite peacefully

Jonathan smiled at Kera, then wrapped his arms around her. He finally dozed off, content.

Let's woke up rather quickly, once again around midnight to one. " Mmhh"

Jonathan stirred at the sound, a drowsy eye flickering open and one arm moving away to adjust his hair slightly.

“Ya alright?”he asked quietly a few moments later.

She nodded and curled a little closer to him. " Sorry.."

Jonathan wrapped his arm around her again, rubbing her back lightly. He shook his head at her apology.

“You’re fine,”he replied.

Kera kissed his neck softly and yawned a bit. She rested her hands on his side

Jonathan chuckled at her actions. He then yawned before kissing Kera on the forehead. He continued to rub her back.

Kera relaxed quit a bit, humming contently

Jonathan smiled softly, listening to her hum. Even simple humming sounded so beautiful when she did it.

Kera leaned up and kisses Jonathan a little more passionately

Jonathan chuckled, matching her kiss. His hand tenderly caressed her cheek.

Kera pulled away, huffing softly

Jonathan stared at her, seeming both inquisitive and amused.

Kera stuck her tongue out at Jonathan. " Butt whole"

Jonathan laughed.

“How so?”he asked, snickering at the rhyme.

Kera laughed. " Don't know," she continues

Jonathan kept laughing. He then paused to think a moment, seeming indecisive. He snickered.

“And my brain is so slow,”he finally said, laughing again.

Kera kept laughing. " Then let me bring your brain back in tow " she kissed him again. Biting his lip and taking the chance to deepen the kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck gently
