"Thank you!" Serenity laughs, watching Ali try to keep pace with her. After a third bowl, Serenity sighs and stops eating. "Damn, I'm a good cook…"

Ali smirks and finishes a fourth, slumping back in her chair. “Of course you are. No doubt about that.” She smiles, then looks back at the soup. “Damn! We still have leftovers too!” She takes another sip of the soup, grinning.

"Mm-hmmm!" Serenity hums. She goes quiet for a moment, then starts singing "All of Me" by John Legend.

Ali smiles, and starts to harmonize. Softly, at first, until she gets loud enough to match Serenity

Serenity grins at Ali when she starts to sing along, but continues singing the song. When she finishes, she goes over to Ali and wraps her in a hug. "I didn't know you knew that song."

Ali laughs. “Me? John legend?? I swear, my dad worships that guy.” She hugs her back, smiling. She softly starts to sing “El Dueño De Tu Amor” by DannyLux, closing her eyes as she starts to dance with Serenity

Serenity smiles. "Of course…" she chuckles, then starts singing and dancing with Ali.

Ali smiles, spinning Serenity as she continues to sing, closing her eyes. She leans her head on Serenity’s chest and smiles as they continue to dance into the living room.

Serenity laughs and leans her own head on Ali's, pressing a kiss to her curly hair.

Serenity hums, letting herself be pulled closer to Serenity. “I love you…” she whispers between a yawn

Serenity yawns as well. "I love you too…"

Ali pulls her onto the couch, smiling up at her. “Thanks. For everything”

"You're welcome." Serenity laughs, letting herself be pulled onto the couch.

Ali grins, collapsing onto the cushions and closing her eyes. Please fall asleep, please fall asleep. she says silently to Serenity. She had work to do tonight

Serenity kisses Ali. "I'm tired. In the morning, I'm taking you on a run…" she yawns. She quickly falls asleep.

Ali smiles, then slowly gets off the couch, heading to her room. She lays out her findings from earlier on a desk, and begins sorting them.

Serenity stirs a little, then grabs a nearby pillow, snuggling wit it.

(PLOT TWIST I HATH RETURNED)

Ali closes the door, sighing as she gathers her materials. She carefully arranged the leaves into a circle, placing the berries in the center, and sprinkling a bit of a questionable powder over all of it. Afterwards, she begins to chant something almost silently, and everything within the circle starts to wither, dying and turning gray. She sighs once it’s over, then tugs at her hair. hopefully that gets me through a few more days

(OH DAMN! PLOT TWIST FROM HELL!)

Serenity wakes as she feels… something. She can't quite put her finger on what exactly it was, but something is in the air. "Ali? You okay?"

(YUH YUH)

Ali quickly brushes the lifeless organisms off her desk, replacing them with textbooks. “Yep! I just remembered I have a test and I forgot to study! I’m fine!”

Serenity looks concerned. "There's something not right with the air right now. It's- dull. Cold. Why is the door closed?" she asks, getting up and walking over to the closed door.

Ali laughs, going to open the door. She leans against the doorframe, al signs of concerned washed away. “Cold? I thought a second ago it was too hot for you!”

Serenity looks troubled still. "No, an unnatural cold. Or more rather, the cold of death."

Ali raises an eyebrow. “Are… you okay?”

Serenity looks into the room, silently extending her senses into the room and hitting a wall of necromancy. Her expression turns blank. "Is there anything you'd like to tell me, Aleecia? For instance, why there are ashes and dust all over the floor?"

Ali turns slightly, then laughs. “What, that? Just some dirt from outside?” She holds a hand to Serenity’s forehead. “Are you really okay? What is going on?”

Serenity looks Ali directly in the eyes. "You could have told me you were dying."

Ali shakes her head, very confused now. “Okay okay. You really need sleep… god, what was in that soup?” She starts to lead Serenity into the living room

Srenity snarls and snaps. A ripple of passes through reality, and a glowing black aura surrounds Ali, while a bright whiteish-grey one surrounds her. "I need you to explain."

Ali screams, heading for the door. “WHAT THE FUCK??”
