Lynn sighs, stepping back. "I-I'm not much help. I don't really know exactly what you feel… but, but I think someone else might."
The Oracle enters the chat
"Hello, hello, hel- oh…" They say, growing solemn at the sight of Aiden.
(Okay! Kinda just, like, slowly revealing shit. Eventually, he'll reveal something darker about the situation he explained earlier.)
Aiden looks at Lynn, confused, then upon seeing the Oracle, he collapses to his knees, shaking.
"I-" his words fail him and he starts crying, finally breaking at seeing the Oracle.
(Dang!! So this is your catatonically tortured character, huh?)
The Oracle panics, holding their hands to their mouth. "Oh my- I'm so so so sorry I didn't mean to- I never wanted-" They start to cry as well, dropping to their knees. "Why! Why did this have to happen to me!! WHy is everyone so scared!!"
(Yep! Kinda just throwing out random bits of backstory makes him all the more interesting!)
"N- no! It's n- not th- that I'm s- scared… it's th- that you r- remind m- me of m- my youngest b- brother!" he says, his voice filled with pain. He tries to get up and fails, eventually just half-crawling his way to the Oracle, wrapping him in a hug.
(awwww! I want to hug him and pay for his therapy!! D':)
The Oracle bawls, wrapping his arms around Aiden, sobbing hot tears as he hugs him tighter. "I-I'm sorry" Is all he can get out, shaking his head.
(I mean, you can pop in and hug him, but therapy in his world doesn't exist… so, that might get a little weird to explain.)
"I- it's f- fine… r- really… I- I should b- be apologizing…" Aiden says, sobs shaking his body as he wraps the Oracle in a tighter hug.
(Oh, you bet I will be doing that.)
The Oracle shakes as more tears erupt from their eyes. "n-no. Y-y-you dont k-know what i've d-d-done. you-you don't know th-the p-people I've hurt. The l-lives I've t-t-taken!" They hug Aiden tighter. "I cant… I-I-I can't do this"
Lynn watches, then hugs both of them, sobbing as well

Aiden just sobs harder, knowing that the Oracle couldn't even begin to compete with him.
Lynn hugs them both tighter. “Hey, hey listen to me. You’re not bad people. You may have done things, but look at you now! You don’t have a right to beat yourself up like that, okay?”
Aiden leans back and looks at Lynn. "Yes, I do." The full force of emotions finally sweeps him away, and he just collapses, incapable of properly crying, his body shaking.
Lynn holds him, stroking his hair as the Oracle closes their eyes, summoning the purple mist to calm Aiden
Aiden falls unconscious, the magic somehow more potent against him than any other magics.
Lynn holds him closer, crying. The Oracle gasps and starts to cry harder. “I-I’m sorry I didn’t mean to-“
It takes 3 hours for Aiden to wake up, still wrapped in a hug between the two. I'm very warm…
Lynn continues to stroke his hair, as she notices him stir. “Hey, it’s okay. We’re right here.” She says softly. The Oracle sighs and relaxes, glad he didn’t end the life of another person
Aiden remembers what had transpired before he was unconscious, and has to fight off the waves of emotions. Eventually, he suceeds in supressing them once more, and wraps Lynn and the Oracle in a hug. "I'm sorry…"
Lynn hugs him tighter, squeezing him as hard as possible. “Don’t apologize. There’s nothing to apologize for. Just stay here.” The Oracle stays quiet, hugging Aiden back as tears start to roll down his face again
"Okay… okay… I will…" Aiden murmurs.
Lynn sniffs, rubbing his back, tracing shapes with her fingernails. “What can I do to make you feel better?”
"I-" he sighs. "I really don't know. It's been so long since it happened, and I haven't gotten better. I'm not sure you can do anything."
He giggles at the shape tracing. "That tickles, you know."
Lynn laughs, tracing a spiral. “What about talking about it? I’ve been studying psychology, I might be able to help”
Aiden looks confused. "Psychology?"
Lynn chuckles softly. “Yeah. The science of the mind, how people think and act and what drives them to do or feel what they do.”
Aiden laughs. "We have a goddess for that."
Lynn rolls her eyes. “You probably beat her up though. Come on, let’s discuss things”
"Nah, I actually like her. I don't like hitting women." Aiden chuckles. "I- I think I'm done with talking about the past, though. It always ends up breaking me like it did earlier." He realises his scars are still visible and looks down.
Lynn sighs. “Alright. But I’m here if you need it.” She notices his scars as well, then touches one lightly. “And don’t hide them. It’s better not to hide things”
He jumps as Lynn touches one of his scars, then blushes. "O- okay."
Lynn draws back, blushing as well. “S-sorry. I know those kind of hurt.”
"N- no, they don't hurt much anymore. I was just startled." Aiden replies, his face getting redder.
