(Yep, lmao! My favourite thing, besides food, water, life, Tina, Gilmore Girls and anime.)
Val looks concerned and calls Wren up. Quickly, a version of him pops up, looking slightly ruffled.
"What is it? I'm in the middle of-" he then notices Nori and jumps. "Ah- hello."
Val looks between the two, sighs, then blocks them off with a screen of light. "That better?"
"Yep." Wren sighs, turning back to Val. "What does the kid need?"
"I don't know. That's why I called you here." Val replies.
"Ah." Wren sighs, walking over to Auretta and inspecting her mind thoroughly. He snorts. "It's a curse. I dispelled it, but you-" he looks at Val pointedly. "Need to be more careful."
Cal sighs, then gets rid of Wren and the light screen. "Sorry."
Auretta remains sitting down, still not feeling well enough to stand. “Mm…” she mumbles.
Val sighs, then summons a bit of ambrosia, holding it out to Auretta. "Here, eat this."
Nori strokes Auretta's hair, blushing when Val summons the screen. He doesn't dare look at Ren. "Aur, what's the matter? Do you feel okay enough to talk?"
Auretta shakes her head, not taking the ambrosia. “N-Not hungry…” she mumbles, leaning against Nori.
Nori's expression grows more concerned as he takes off his backpack. "Ummm… I've got advil? O-or some Tylenol… umm"
Val looks at Auretta, concerned. Maybe… She puts her hands against Auretta's head, pulsing light through her gently. Auretta's form seems to pulse with light that beats in time with her heart.
Auretta gently shuts her eyes, feeling exhausted. “T-Tired-“ she manages to get out.
Val laughs. Of course. "Sleep, then."
Nori lays her down, still concerned as he feels her forehead. "Kind of.. cold. I dunno, I kind of have an abnormally high temperature though so I wouldn't know." He looks up at Val. "do you maybe have a blanket?"
Auretta curls in on herself, whimpering as she tries to sleep.
Val laughs. "I don't, but you're askig the lady with the ability to weave light into anything." She weaves a blanket quickly, then draps it over Auretta.
Auretta takes the blanket, curling in on herself even more. “Mm…” she whimpers.
Nori smiles, then stands, brushing off his sweater. "We should probably set up camp somewhere." He looks at Wren. "Hey… homie. Hows it goin?" He smiles awkwardly
Wren looks around a moment, then sighs. "It's going good, actually, besides getting chased by the government." He hesitates a moment, then grins. "How's it going with you?"
Val can feel the tension in the air and grins, sitting down and watching.
Auretta tries to fall asleep, even though that’s easier said than done. She shifts her position, whimpering quietly.
Nori snorts. "well… okay then! I uh, Its going pretty good." He looks at Val, then at the ground. "So uh, I heard you and Ren were a thing." He grins slyly. "Hows that goin?" He glances at Auretta, making sure she was okay
Auretta was constantly shifting her position, feeling a mix of tired and in pain. She whimpers as she tries to sleep peacefully.
Val looks to Auretta and dispels any pain she was feeling.
Wren's eyes light up. "Yes, we are! It's going well, all things considered." He pauses. "So… you and Lukas. How's that going?"
Auretta calms down a bit, falling asleep. “Mm…”
Nori grins. "I love that. You two are so adorable!" He clenches his teeth, forcing a grin. "I-I-I dunno. Who knows, really." He laughs nervously, then glances at Val again, then back at Wren
Wren notices the forced grin and sighs. "I can leave, if you need me to."
Val senses Nori's surge of emotions and calms him with a thought, sighing. Don't get so worked up.
Auretta sleeps peacefully, snuggling the blanket.
Nori sighs, holding his head. "Naw. No, don't leave. Im just… working things out. I guess." He half smiles, looking at Auretta and sighing with a grin.
Wren looks at Nori. "Makes sense." He glances at Valerie knowingly, then looks back at Nori. "I hope everything works out for you and whoever you decide to get with."
Nori blushes. "uh, yeah. Thanks." He folds his arms, then goes to check on Auretta
Wren grins and leaves.
Val notes that the entire interaction was loaded with history. "So. I assume an old boyfriend of yours?"
Nori blushes. "N-no. Just… a friend. I guess."
"Uh-huh. Sure." Val says, dropping the subject.
Nori presses his lips together. Why do so many people have crushes on me?! What do they see in… whatever the hell I am?!
