The next few moments passed almost entirely in silence. Neither Sun-mi nor Kyro knew what to say, and Hachi didn't have the strength to say anything. The silence was finally broken after Recovery Girl finished her examination. She turned to face the other two so she could explain.
"I sadly can't do much for his condition. What is happening is incurable and rather hard to treat. I can do what I can to lessen the pain, but I can't put an end to this."

Hachi buried his face in the blanket. He had heard those words so many times before…and he was honestly getting sick of it. “Mm…” he mumbled, looking away from Recovery Girl.
