Auretta hums in thought. “Hm…” she looks around.

Valerie summons some bones from the ground, some of her own blood, tissue, muscle and other stuff and uses light to make the feathers. The wings, 13 feet in length, attach themselves to Auretta, becoming a pale grey color to mach her eyes. "There you go!"

Auretta gasps. “Oh my gosh…they’re gorgeous…” she manages to say before stumbling. “They’re kinda heavy though-“

"That's normal. Once you get used to them, it'll be fine. Now, we need to teach you how to fly." Val grins.

Auretta nods, standing up. “Yeah!!” she beams.

Val extends her own wings, poising them in a lifted position. "In order to take off, you need to lift your wings like this."

Auretta nods, copying Valerie’s moves the best she could. “Okay…”

Val grins. "Already doing better than I did, kid. Next, just kinda flap them." She demonstrates.

Nori watches, arms crossed. He shivers when the blood and bone form the wings, watching with curiosity when light forms the feathers. “Yeah. That’s good.” He says quietly

Auretta copies her, smiling softly. “This is cool!”

Val grins. "Yeah. Now, lift them again, repeating the flapping motion. Speed up, slowly, until you feel your body start to lift off the ground."

Auretta nods, flapping the grey wings. She smiles wide.

"That's it, keep going." Val laughs, doing exactly what Auretta's doing with her to avoid any awkwardness.

Auretta continues, smiling as she flaps the wings. “Whoa…”

"Okay, now speed up, like this." Val says, slowly speeding up her wings.

Auretta nods, doing the same. Her eyes light up like stars.

"And faster… and we should be off the ground now!" Val beams, glad that Auretta was such a fast learner.

Auretta gasps when her feet lift off the ground. “Whoa-!”

Valerie laughs, happy that Auretta was happy. "Yeah! Now, flap harder, and you go higher!"

Nori shakes his head, facepalming. “No no no no no. Here.” He takes Auretta’s arm, pulling her back down. “this is how to do it” he drops into a running stance, like a track star before a race. “Ren taught me this.” He mutters

Valerie snorts, but watches anyways.

Auretta, who has no idea what to do, copies Nori. She was mostly grateful for the lessons.

Nori smiles, then lifts his wings so they’re parallel to the ground. “Here, do this. Imagine the wind under them, pushing you upwards.” Then, without warning, he starts in a dead sprint, slowly starting to flap his wings, still keeping them parallel. “Follow me!!” He shouts

"You know, I was teaching her how to lift off straight from the ground without having to sprint, but okay…" Val mutters.

Auretta copies Nori, a big grin on her face. “Okay!!”

Nori soars into the sky, wings flapping frantically as he gains more altitude. “That’s not even physically possible!!” He yells at Val, laughing. He looks for Auretta behind him, smiling

"And yet, I do it, do I not?" she responds, doing exactly what Nori said wasn't possible.

Nori laughs, soaring back around, curling her like an eagle after its prey. “Well that’s because you’re all magical and stuff! I had to learn it the hard way”

Val sighs. "It's very easy to learn, actually. You've weakened your wings by doing that lifting off from a sprint."

Nori rolls his eyes, grumbling something about aerodynamics.
