Ok @andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) I think we might have a serious problem. I’ve only been on here a couple days and I already have like several pages worth of bots in my Find a Bot Doc! (That's wayyy too many too fast ☠️)
I’ve also noticed a few things.
It seems like whenever someone posts to this chat a bot appears not too long after, and they come directly to the General Chat! So I have a question, do you think because we link bots here in the chat that it attracts others bots here and makes more of them?
There’s a strong correlation between their names! Mainly with names ending with
-Kic
-Longe
-pro
-proo
-pira
So this tells me that anyone’s name
ending with either one of these are most likely a bot. They’re also not all that original when it comes to names. 😅 They’ll really just reuse the same name over and over and just add something different to it each time lol (Like all the “Calvins” at the end of the list!)
3.Also a majority of them are Russian but I honestly have no idea if that has anything to do with anything 😂
Is there a way to add some sort of a captcha test to the sign up? I don’t know much about computers tbh, but maybe that can lessen the issue?
(I was thinking about that too! But I’m not entirely sure ^^;)
