“I-“ He looked confused, and panic flashed across his eyes. I’m not my mother…
“Of course. What do I need to know?”
Another voice seemed to join his head. Maybe you are.

She opened her eyes and found herself in the courtroom. But something was wrong.
Pain. Marya gasped with pain, not knowing where it was coming from. Her tail. Where was it? It weren't on her body anymore. She fell to the ground, hair covering her face as she twitched her ears. At least they were still there.
Shock covering her face, she noticed her tail on top of a table, dried blood all over it. Marya stumbled to the other side of the room, towards the doors, but they were locked.
"If you can get out of this room alive, I will let you escape." the second-in command, Leonidas' voice could be heard.
Marya clenched her teeth, gaze lighting up in flames.
A few minutes later, Marcus knocked on the open door and slipped in. “You wanted to see me?” He asked hesitantly.
Cal nodded, sitting up in his chair. "Nimue, London, and I are leaving to get Marya from the king. I need you to stay in command for me." He explained. "I know it's a lot to put on your shoulders, but you're one of the best for the job."
“Wait I am?” London asked, looking up from his cards.
The walls started to emit a colorless gas. Poison. For how long? Marya held her breath, ducking underneath a table when the floor started to spin. Soldiers started pouring from the sides and heading towards her, wearing gas masks.
He thinks he's so smart. She could see the flaw in his plan. The soldiers were coming from the sides and yet the courtroom was supposed to be secluded? This wasn't the courtroom. The gas wasn't real. None of this was. It was a dream.
She woke up, feeling pain, yet again. Her tail was still gone. Leonidas smiled from where he was standing. "Go before the king finds you. I value bravery and cleverness. That is why I did not kill you. If we ever meet again, you will not be as lucky. Go." Marya took the blessing and started out from the room, walking until she was outside the palace gates.
Lighting a piece of dry brush with fire, she threw it at the wooden part of the palace.
"Ah, but mister Leonidas, this is the first and last time we will ever meet."

(She's Marya, for gosh's sake)
(Of course she would try to burn down the palace)
(They'd put it out fast, though)
Marya stood in front of the palace, watching as they put it out in about an hour.
//damnit all
(Where do Nimue and Cal and London find her?)
//idk, I think it was originally gonna be prison but
She headed into the forest, climbing up a tree and deciding to rest.
(Marya's tough)
(She don't need no saving)

(Hey, can I join?)
Ailith heard the alarms, "What did she do?"
She turned to the boy, "We need to hurry and get out otherwise we'll never get out."
“I-“ He looked confused, and panic flashed across his eyes. I’m not my mother…

"Watch the eastern and western gates of the palace," Cal explained, noticing Marcus' moment of hesitation. "This castle may be abandoned, but there are always dangers from the forest's near it and from the monarchy's army."
(Hey, can I join?)
( Sure! )
Ailith heard the alarms, "What did she do?"
She turned to the boy, "We need to hurry and get out otherwise we'll never get out."
"Ok, lead the way," Rhys nodded. He played with the deck of tarrot cards he got from his father subconsciously as he followed, making them dance around his hands.
Ailth moved swiftly towards the bottom of the north tower. She pushed in a brick and watched as a secret passage opened, "Through here."
"Nice! Thanks," he nodded at the girl who had helped him, "Are you coming this time instead of staying?"
Ailith looked back, "I'll stay with you to make sure you get out. Then we'll see."
“I-“ He looked confused, and panic flashed across his eyes. I’m not my mother…

“Okay,” he nodded.
"Cool," Rhys trekked down the passage, "So, why were you in there, if you don't mind me asking, of course.°
Ailith shrugged as she lit a torch, "I kept re-entering the kingdom. The king got sick of it so he threw me in jail."
"Yeah," Rhys nodded, "that'll put you in jail. Especially with that man's temper."

"Good." Cal nodded in return, standing up and walking towards the door. "We'll be leaving in thirty minutes."
(Should we do a time skip to where they're near the forest next to the palace.)
"And don't I know it," Ailith responded, "Had to do it about a dozen times till he threw me in there."
(yeah)
Marya got to work on her tail stump. It wasn't bleeding anymore, but it had dried blood covering it, indicating a clean cut. Wow. How merciful.
(Where does the passage go to?)
