(Ok, * fast forward to the next test (grip strength)*)
(Ok, * fast forward to the next test (grip strength)*)
(Oh Inima is going to do great.)
"Yeah. Also, quick question, did you make those yourself?" Fuse indicated the tools Murdock had on.
Murdock smiled. "Yeah, actually. I made all of my equipment myself. I'm sort of a mechanic in my spare time. My quirk powers all the stuff that can't have batteries to power them, which saves on a lot of stuff. I once powered a trolley car for my grandpa so we could get it into the junkyard," he said, a little proud of himself
"Wow, and sorry about the side kick thing," Yuuka apologized as they walked to the next area, "I didn't mean anything by it, normally being a sidekick is a good thing it helps you refine your skills and put your name out there. I am certain you'll become a hero being able to power your own equipment is useful in almost all situations"
"Nice! You could totally be a hero yourself with skills like that!" Fuse exclaimed.
"Ok, next is the strength grip test. Everyone, grab one of these," Mr. Aizawa said, indicating machines used to show someone's strength.
Inima grabbed a device.
(Should we all just type a number it is just grip strength?)
Fuse grabbed one of the devices, "Ok, don't think I'll be able to use my quirk for this."
(Yeah.)
Murdock grinned. "Ooh, watch this." He tapped his gloves, hardwiring them. A small led came on on the insides of the wrists with a picture of what looked like something from an arcade game. He grabbed one of the devices, suddenly feeling confident in himself
Inima watched as some silver from her hair moved itself to her hand and the device. She squeezed it with her hand and the silver. She ended up breaking the device. She grinned wildly, "Whoops."
(what would a reasonable number for something like this be? like in the 200's or something?)
(https://www.topendsports.com/testing/norms/handgrip.htm ) (this might help)
(THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!)
(No problem guys)
Murdock gripped the device as hard as he could, watching the number skyrocket before he heard something in the device crack. "Oh man. Um…" he set the device down, pretending he hadn't just used it
Fuse griped the thing as hard as he could, "Oh, wait," he smirked and shined the flashlight on it. It solidified and crushed the device, not quite breaking it, but coming close, "Yes!"
(I love how we all just broke the device.)
(Lol, yeah. :P)
Murdock looked over at the others. Apparently grip strength was everyone's forte. He scowled down at his hand, wondering if he could modify his gloves so that they were somehow stronger
(yep lol)
(I started a trend. A very destructive trend.)
(I was gonna give Murdock a normal number but then I remembered he had gloves lol)
(Same, then I remembered he could solidify light :P)
"You know braking them doesn't really give you a score." Yuuka smiled, "This is one I might actually do good at." She grabbed on of the devises, "57.1 Kg's yes!"
(this is higher than avg. do to her training in urban movement that her teacher had her hanging off a small ledge every day for as long as she could)
Murdock grinned sheepishly. "I didn't do it on purpose. Well, I did, but I didn't."
Inima looked at the girl, "Yes it does. It means were stronger than the device."
"Hey, I'm not judging," She smiled, "I just know that if everyone can break it I might becoming in last." she looked over at the girl, "But it can also mean lack of control meaning that you could accidentally brake the bones of a person you are trying to help."
Inima nodded, "Good."
