“ Okay, give me like five minutes, and ill be out,” he said nearly above a whisper. He got up and got fully dressed, he pulled his hair back and walked out the door in a little under three minutes

Jonathan vanished to let the pair have some privacy.

Amelia got up and dressed with Keigo, following him out.

Jonathan waited in front of his room, bouncing on his toes like a little kid, grinning wide.

Keigo went up to Johnathan, “ so what is it?” he asked with an intrigued tone.

Jonathan grinned wider and led the pair into his room. He waved his hand at a computer with a schematic of the bottom of the ship.

“Our ticket to the prize. The heart of this glorious beauty, massive and electrical,”Jonathan cooed.

Amelia blinked, confused.

“Her engine. She has a big ass, mostly electric, engine that is the primary source of power for everything. If we cut power to this, all of the digital vaults in her will be wide fucking open, at least for a couple minutes,”Jonathan explained.

“ so basically we take her heart out through her ass…?” Keigo said quite confused

Jonathan laughed and Amelia giggled.

“That’s one way of putting it. Her engine is in the bottom of the ship. Basically, we get underneath her, hack into it, and shut it down, or… this is something I also recently discovered… hack into one of the little brothers, angle them just right, and shoot the powerful EMP each one has at the engine,”Jonathan explained.

Amelia flinched at the mention of the EMP.

Keigo looked at her “ something wrong love?” he asked softly, his face had a bit of worry in it.

Amelia glanced at Keigo, then took a deep breath and looked at Jonathan.

“How powerful are those EMPs?”she asked.

Jonathan seemed a bit concerned now as well.

“They are lovingly called ‘Ship Killers’ for a reason. One solid hit and the targeted ship’s electrical system is completely fucked for fifteen minutes minimum. Why? I know ya got metal bits, but you’ve never had issues that I remember.”Jonathan asked.

Amelia grimaced.

“Fuck… I’ve never had issues with EMPs because we’ve never encountered a Ship Killer. Low power EMPs won’t hurt me, but a Ship Killer… is enough to short-circuit everything and knock me out. I don’t know any details, simply because I was told of the dangers when I was little and I’ve avoided these big EMPs my entire life,”Amelia explained.

“Fuck,”Jonathan blurted, his eyes wide.

“ I'm not taking that chance with Amelia,” Keigo said a little protectively. “ she could stay back and pilot the ships so their not seen.”

“I definitely get that. Holy fuck, why didn’t ya ever mention this?”Jonathan burst.

“No one ever asked. Besides, it was a rule to avoid them anyway. Considering the twelve Ship Killers that are surrounding this big ship, are you willing to continue?”Amelia asked.

Jonathan paused, glancing at all of his computers, displaying schematics and images.

“I remember that rule. But, this one is nagging at me. I mean really nagging at me. I don’t want to miss this opportunity, even with the rather scary odds,”Jonathan replied.

“ beta your the guts and the heart of this project. It's your call “ Keigo said a little tonelessly

Jonathan nodded at Keigo, then looked at Amelia. She sighed.

“I’ll dare it, but if those twelve start going after us, we abort. I don’t want to risk myself or the ships,”Amelia said.

“The utmost stealth is my preferred strategy for this one anyway,”Jonathan replied.

Amelia nodded.

Keigo nodded and went to go do his daily chores. He checked his logs, surprisingly he hadn't had a seizure in a while “ huh,” he said with a bit of happiness.

Amelia stayed with Jonathan for a bit to help him plan, then left to grab something to eat. Bull was in the galley already, enjoying a sandwich, and he waved in greeting. She waved back, trying to decide what she wanted to eat.

Keigo we to Boris for a regular check-up every day. He mentioned the rarity of seizes here lately.

Boris checked his pad and noticed that Keigo was right.

“Damn. That’s good. That’s really good,”he said.

“You know, I honestly wonder if Emma helped influence this, considering how you two are inseparable,”Boris commented with a shrug.

“ stress causes the seizures so…” he said softly. Keigo stood up and let boris check his wound.

“Makes sense.”

Boris checked on Keigo’s wounds, nodding happily.

“They’re healing pretty good. Just remember to still take it easy for a bit. Don’t want to give them any reason to get pissy,”Boris said calmly.

“ thanks bear, and I will.” he said and went back out to find Amelia he came up behind her and huged her from behind.

“You’re welcome,”Boris said, laughing when Keigo called him Bear.

When Keigo hugged Amelia, she leaned back into him, moaning softly.

“Hello, love,”she greeted.

Keigo gave a small laugh, nuzzling into Amelia's neck “ guess who hasn't had a seize in a long time..” he said softly

Amelia looked at him, then smiled wide.

“That’s wonderful, love,”she said, kissing his cheek.

Keigo let her go and went to get a bowl of cereal. He sat down next to Amelia and ate, “ we should be stopping soon, so we can deal with some matters and I can help Johnathan get his bird.”

Amelia nodded and looked at him, curious what he meant by ‘matters’. She had suspicions of what he meant, and couldn’t help but smile. She then snickered at the mention of Jonathan getting a bird.

“It’s going to be such chaos with two birds in here,”she said, giggling.

“ yeah, manny games of war.” he said with a laugh. Keigo put on a fur coat and warmer clothes. This zone was centered to be like a tundra kinda thing.

Amelia laughed, imagining the entire crew running away from two birds with cups.

As Keigo dressed for cold weather, Amelia realized that all of her winter gear was still in her ship.

“I also see that I’ll be rearranging some of my things, so that I won’t have to constantly go back and forth between ships. I’ve been so caught up in… everything, that I’ve completely forgotten about doing that,”Amelia said, chuckling.

“ it's done and ill help you, for right now though, just bundle up with some of my stuff. It's extremely nippy here but it's the only place to get exotics like toaci.” he said and handed his outer layer jacket to Amelia. He also gave her multilayer snow pants and boots, though the boots may have been a little big.

“Ah, I see. Thank you,”she said.

She put on all the stuff, snickering at the bigger sized boots.

“You have big feet,”she teased, giggling.

“ God please don't rub it it,” he fake whined and zipped his coat up. He waited for the rest of the team to fluff up before going off the ship

Amelia laughed.

She waited with Keigo, then followed him off, the other three following her. Jonathan grinned the entire time, Boris was intrigued, and Bull seemed to be lost in thought.

“I remember this place. I haven’t been back here in near twenty damn years. I wonder if ol’ Martha’s still around. Likely not, considering how old she was,”Bull commented.
