Murdock looked down at his shin guards, frowning for a moment. That guy got a good time, and he used his quirk on its own. He wished he had a quirk like that. He shook his head, snapping himself out of it. He walked over to the guy. "Hey, I just wanted to say, um, your quirk is really cool."
Inima was slightly disappointed when Murdock left her, but the feeling quickly faded.
(random plot idea for later: what if they all became friends and went like…to the mall or something over the weekend. idk I just thought that would be kinda cool lol)
"Yeah, hopefully you'll be able to show off your quirk soon."
"Ok, next up are Ms. Yamashita and Mr. Hawkins (if that's not his last name just tell me and I'll change it)." Mr. Aizawa called.
"Thanks! I couldn't quite tell what yours was, but it seems really cool!" Fase complimented.
(thanks lol) Murdock smiled, putting his hands in his pockets. "It's nothing special, really. I've just got a flexible support quirk."
"Nice, from what I saw, it powers mechanical things up?" Fase guessed.
Yuuka looked at Murdock, " Really, Ikuko's quirk is just flashy. So he'll need to start developing some skill. But you, " She pointed at Murdock "Beat him by a second which is amazing. 3.3 seconds one of the best scores Ive seen ever." Her mind suddenly felt it the blood running down her leg, the knife it cut me. "Um, sorry," she reached down and put her hand on the grass and it stared to wilt and turn brown, "Sorry It looks like I took some damage. I don't mean to be rude."
"Well, I can use my quirk for more than just harming and healing others," Fase teased.
"Well hey, flashy quirks tend to be popular with employment. You'll probably do alright in that," Murdock said
"Shut up, Ikuko" she sighed as the wound closed, "I used the grass not a person, and you know what it is super useful in hand to hand combat."
"Yeah, yeah, ok. So, was I right about your quirk being to power up mechanical items?" Fuse asked the guy.
Inima stayed where she was. She still hadn't quite grasped the concept of 'socializing' and 'friends'.
"How many more people still have to run?" She looked back towards the rest of the class.
"The two that are up and two others, I think," Fuse said.
Murdock shrugged. "I don't know. But um, my quirk isn't mechanical. At least, not machinery-specific."
"Oh, really? What does it do?" Fuse asked, curious.
(yeah I was just kinda throwing that out there so we had more content later) "Well, it's sorta complicated. Lots of rules and restrictions and that sort of thing. But I can basically amp up people's quirks and power machinery," Murdock said, adjusting his goggles
"Nice! I can bend man made light and explode it," Fuse told him, "Oh, and I'm Ikuko Fuse," he introduced himself.
"That's really cool," Murdock said, smiling. "I'm Murdock Kai. Or um. In America I'm Kai Murdock." He laughed awkwardly. "Sorry, I haven't been here very long. I'm still getting the hang of living here."
(And Inima is all alone and to socially awkward to talk to people.)
Yuuka looks at Ikuko then back at Murdock and at her own hands. "Could imagine my quirk amped up? Like I can see how your would work but mine, that could kill someone if it multiplies the damage I deal or would I be able to use my quirk from a distance?" She starts getting a lost in thought and contemplating the possibilities. "A quirk that can make someone else stronger not doubt it will be desirable for a side kick. He will most likely get scouted right after he graduates."
(Should we move on and the others can say their scores when they get on?)
"Yeah, it's a really cool quirk!" Fuse agreed.
(lol, Murdock is too but I'm trying to get him to be less anxious lol) Murdock frowned. "Everyone says I'd be a sidekick. But I kinda wanna be able to do stuff without other people too, y'know?"
