Amelia glanced at the time as well. It surprised her how much of the day had gone by already. It felt like she had woken up only minutes ago!
Jonathan yelped when Toaci nipped him.
“Shit, he’s fast! And sneaky as hell!”
“You let this menace loose,”Bull said, snickering.
“He’s been loose. I had nothing to do with it. This is still funny as shit though,”Jonathan replied.
“What was meant to be a simple break turned into a nightmare,”Bull sighed.
Jonathan laughed,”Lighten up, Bull.”
Bull, despite himself, laughed as well.
Toaci took the chance to nip bull in his ass, flying back to retrieve his cup. “ white flag?” he asked innocently.
Keigo leaned his forehead on Amelia's “ can you stay with me?” he asked softly.
Bull yelped, Jonathan laughing in response.
“Yeah, I fucking wave the white flag here!”Bull called.
Jonathan hesitated, then sighed mournfully.
“White flag here,”Jonathan called, snickering.
Amelia chuckled.
“Of course, love. I wasn’t planning on leaving anyway,”she replied.
Toaci Trilled happily, raising his head triumphantly. Walking in a proud circle.
After having put up the cards, Keigo moved a couple of the pillows and laid down. He yawned softly.
“This fucking bird,”Bull sighed, chuckling helplessly.
“Is fucking funny as hell,”Jonathan added, laughing.
“You two have been hanging around together too long,”Bull said, shaking his head and walking off.
Jonathan still laughed.
Amelia stood and moved the chair right up against the bed. She then curled up in it, gently grabbing and holding Keigo’s hand, staring at him lovingly. His yawn inspired her to yawn, and she giggled.
Keigo smiled at her, squeezing her hand softly. He fell asleep pretty quickly, snoring softly.
Toaci flew back to Johnathan's shoulder, niping at his ear caringly ( in gym brb do you wanna skip to the moment when Keigo is floating over )
(I’m about to go to bed, lol. And sure)
Amelia smiled, then watched him fall asleep. His snores lulled her to sleep.
Jonathan snickering, petting Toaci.
“You’re fucking hilarious, Toaci,”he said, chuckling.
A few days had passed and Keigo was finally able to go back to his ship, though he had to lean on Amelia the whole way there. He finally made it over, leaning on the wall as he slipped off his spacesuit.
Toaci came fucking racing across the ship as soon as Keigo entered “ kego! Melia!” he chirped happily
Boris followed Keigo and Amelia, watching them to make sure they would make it safely. He watched Keigo closely as he took off his suit, but said nothing.
Amelia laughed when she saw Toaci running.
“Hi, Toaci!”she said.
Jonathan appeared a moment later, looking at everyone cautiously before grinning.
“Back from the void finally. Keigo, I fucking love Toaci. And… speaking of birds, when ya got a moment, and you’re all situated and whatnot, I want to talk to ya,”Jonathan said.
Bull also appeared, eyeing Toaci cautiously.
“That bird is insane,”Bull mumbled to himself.
Keigo seemed a little stunned from Johnathan's request. “Ah, sure.” He said and bent down to pick up toaci “ he gets crazy at times but that's because he's restless or you gave him too much food.” he said with a laugh. “ lemme guess, he played war with bull?”
“War, hell. Crazy bird tried to kill me and Beta-Man here with a cup,”Bull snorted.
Jonathan laughed.
“That was fucking fun, and don’t deny it!”
Bull sighed,”Yeah, it was. But, that bird is still crazy.”
Jonathan still laughed.
Keigo went with Johnathan. Leaving toaci to bull. “ so what's up?” he asked patiently
Toaci held his cup maliciously. Looking at bull from Amelia's shoulder
Bull watched Toaci warily.
“Evil bird. Funny too, but evil with that cup,”Bull commented.
Amelia snickered.
“Call me evil too, but I’m curious what he’s going to do,”she said, giggling.
“Uh uh, fuck that. I’m out,”Bull said, fleeing to his room.
Amelia laughed.
“So, shortly after all the mess a few days ago, Toaci visited me, helped calm me down and all that. Well, he started talking about looking at bird pics and I obliged. He found a pic of one that looked like him, was rather fascinated, and then directly told me this. Toaci’s lonely. I don’t know if ya knew about that, but I figured I’d share, and also ask if ya didn’t mind if I got Toaci a pal,”Jonathan explained.
“ Actually, I've known toaci was lonely for a while. And yes I don't mind, might do ya some good. “ he said
Toaci looked to Amelia “ play war?” he asked and raised his cup.
Jonathan nodded, chuckling.
“Alright. Real quick, male or female?”
Amelia giggled.
“Sure.”
“ if your wanting to have more small toacis then female because toaci doesn't have his balls cut. But a make just cause another game of war. “ he said
Toaci chased Amelia with the cup though he didn't throw it as hard as he did with bull.
“Kind of figured,”Jonathan said, snickering.
“Anyways. That was it. I’ll just vanish back in my cave for a bit, unless Toaci hits me with that cup of his. Then I’m joining the game,”Jonathan said, laughing a bit.
He left, heading back to his room.
Amelia laughed as Toaci chased her. She dodged several hits, thought she also got hit several times. She didn’t mind. Hell, she found it fun, and was happy to do something new.
“ toaci! Boris is playing!” Keigo yelled and toaci immediately aimed, hitting him square in the face. “ big bear down!” he called and went back to Amelia
“Shit! And I was just passing through!”Boris yelped, laughing.
Amelia laughed as well, dodging the next throw.
Keigo held his hand out for toaci “ white flag buddy.” he said. Keigo waited for everyone to gather for supper before grabbing the box out of his room. Though he did stay away from Amelia most of the day to get ready
Amelia giggled as the game ended, and Boris quickly escaped, chuckling as he went.
Amelia noticed how Keigo seemed to avoid her the rest of the day. It concerned her. Though, she remembered Keigo’s mention of a ‘thing’ a few days ago, and she wondered if that’s what kept him away.
When supper came, everyone gathered in the galley as usual, eager to get into Boris’ stew again. Amelia also looked around for Keigo, wanting to ask him if he was alright.
Keigo finally came in for supper but he just peeked around the corner “ Boris, bull, Johnathan come here.” he said a little worried. Keigo had dressed pretty nice and braided his hair back. He was going to ask the crew for a blessing before he did anything
Amelia watched warily as the three men went to Keigo. What was going on?
Boris, Bull, and Jonathan went to Keigo, all three a bit concerned. When they saw his outfit, Boris stared at him inquisitively, Bull rose an eyebrow in confusion, and Jonathan snickered.
“Looking rather snappy. What’s the occasion, Keigo?”Jonathan asked.
“Yeah, what he said,”Bull commented, pointing at Jonathan.
“Planning something? Celebrating that you’re back on your feet?”Boris asked.
“ no actually, “ he pulled out the box, “ I wanna marry Amelia, and I wanted your blessing to do so. She is your best friend after all,” he said softly. A light blush covered his face and he looked to the ground
Bull and Boris stared with wide eyes for a moment. Jonathan grinned wide, seeming like a little kid with a new toy.
“That explains the outfit. And fuck yeah, go for it!”Jonathan said excitedly.
Bull glanced at Jonathan, snorting in amusement.
“Fucking little kid here. And I’ve got no problems with you marrying Emma… Which fucking name is she going by? Emma or Amelia? Or does it matter? Anyway. Go fucking for it. She’s been needing a guy who actually fucking cares,”Bull said.
“I am the youngest, Bull,”Jonathan commented, snickering.
Bull sighed, chuckling helplessly at the reminder. Boris snorted at the two, then turned to Keigo.
“I’m fine with it. I’ve seen how you two act around each other. You’re fucking inseparable, and I have no desire to ruin that at all,”Boris said.
“ thank you, “ he said softly. He went in to dinning room, not really knowing was he was doing, he held the box behind his back and walked right up to Amelia, holding his hand out for her.
The three men nodded, then followed him, staying off to the side and watching. Jonathan couldn’t hide his grin and Boris smiled sweetly. Bull didn’t smile, but he did seem pleased.
Amelia noticed them all, still concerned. But, she calmed down considerably when she saw the expressions of the three. At least nothing was wrong.
Amelia took Keigo’s hand, watching him curiously. Was he hiding the ‘thing’ he had mentioned in his other hand?
Keigo smiled softly, getting down on one knee and trying his best not to strain himself, he pulled the black box from behind his back “ Amelia Emerson, I have loved you since the hour we first met, you are kind and caring, Just as beautiful as well. For once in my life, I was truly happy when you came back to me at the sales dock, and now, I wanna be with you forever.” he spoke softly to her a caring and hopeful smile rested on his face. He opened the box to show the ring to her “ so, will you marry me?”
Amelia watched him get on one knee, and she realized what he was hiding. A smile grew on her lips.
As she listened to his words, a light blush appeared on her cheeks. She then gasped at his question, her smile becoming a huge grin.
“Yes! Yes, of course!”she said excitedly.
Amelia kneeled down and wrapped Keigo in a hug, being gentle to avoid hurting him. She then kissed him.
“I ain’t never seen her smile so big,”Bull whispered, so that only Jonathan and Boris could hear him.
“As my mother said, there’s a lid for every pot,”Boris mused.
“Shut up,”Jonathan hissed dramatically, not wanting to miss anything.
Bull snickered.
Keigo stood up keep her in a hugg kiss for a minute, he himself smiling just as well. He broke the kiss and put the ring around her finger, it fit perfectly. “ love you Amelia “ he said just to her.
