"Yeah, he's probably already worried, but he's talking to his dad, so he should be alright." Lorenzo adjusted his positioning a bit. "We'll have to talk more some other time."

“ agreed,” Cyrus said and stood up, waiting for the other father to follow.

Lorenzo got to his feet and followed Cyrus out of the room. Corbin looked up when the door opened and got up as well, looking between the two of them nervously.

Cyrus gave corbin a genuine smile. He went back to the crow's side. “ hey cori”

"Hey… how did it go?" Corbin asked anxiously taking one of Cyrus' hands in both of his own. "It was fine." Lorenzo answered for him.

“ Yeah, everything's okay,” he said softly to corbin. He put his hand on top of The others and laughed a little “ thank you by the way, lorenzo. “

Corbin rested his head against Cyrus' with a soft sigh. Lorenzo nodded stiffly. "Mhmm. You take care of my son and we shouldn't have any problems."

“Yes sir” he said with a smile, Cyrus lifted his head and looked over to the father. A grateful smile still rested there.

"Well, um… I guess we'll see you soon, then." Corbin dipped his head politely and waved to his dads before heading out the door.

Cyrus did the Same, following corbin out. “ that went, well actually. “

"Really? You think so?" Corbin asked, sighing softly in relief. "What happened? What all did y'all talk about?"

“ he talked about me and you. Me protecting you. What happen last night..” he said the last part softly

Corbin flushed a bit and held tighter to Cyrus' hand. "Oh… um… d-do you think he's warming up to you?" He asked.

“ Yeah, I believe so. “ Cyrus kissed corbins head and sighed happily. “ so, what now? You and your dad think of anything?”

"Oh, we were just chatting more than anything. He fretted over the mugging, I insisted it was fine, he told me it wasn't, I cried, whatever. The usual." He shrugged.

“ you cried, are you sure your okay?” he said worriedly

"O-Oh, yeah. I'm great." Corbin smiled weakly up at Cyrus. "It's nothing, really…"

“ corbin it is something though. “ he said worriedly “ it scared you shitless cori”

Corbin was quiet, looking down at the ground as he walked. "It's just… I dunno… I don't wanna make it a big thing…"

“ that's fine.” he said and nuzzled corbin softly, he wrapped his wing around corbin.

Corbin leaned into Cyrus and closed his eyes, drawing in a wavering breath. "It's… s-sorry…"

“you're fine. “ he said and kissed his head. “ love you,” he mumbled.

Corbin paused, gripping Cyrus tighter and hiccuping. He was trembling slightly and cowering, staying very close to Cyrus.

Cyrus noticed corbin crying “ cori.. I.. Didn't mean to upset you” he stopped and took the other into a tight hug,

"No, n-no, I'm sorry…" Corbin drew in a harsh, wavering breath that made his throat feel cold. He clung to Cyrus, burying his face in his chest.

Cyrus basically snuggled corbin, trying to get him calmed down “ lets just go home,” he said softly “ I'll play for you.”

"O-Okay…" Corbin hiccuped weakly again, a few tears rolling down his cheeks. He kept his face hidden and wrapped his wings around himself.

Cyrus flew upward, picking corbin up and trying to fly home, keeping his temp up.

Corbin buried his face in Cyrus' shoulder, sobbing weakly through his apologies.

“ shhh, I got you.” he said softly, Cyrus had only been half-assed looking where he was going. And then someone hit them, his arms letting go of corbin on accident “ corbin!” he yelled. ( I thought cyrus might actually be able to save corbin this go around. -w-)
