Jonathan snickered, then looked up.

“Ah fuck.”

Amelia turned and froze, immediately tensing up when she saw that it was Maxim. She glared at him.

“Sided with these two, little brother? Sided with the bitch that shot your brother, and her weak ass toy?”Maxim growled, cocking his pistol and alternating the aim between Keigo and Amelia.

“Max, get the fuck out of here,”Jonathan said, rolling his eyes.

“I’m not done! Me and him still have a fight to finish. And I’m going to get you back for kicking me in the face. And, the fucking bitch herself is here, and I’ve got a score to settle with her,”Maxim growled.

As Maxim spoke, Boris ran in and paused near the door, holding up a large shotgun.

“Lower your damn gun or I shoot you full of buckshot,”Boris snarled.

Maxim paused and glanced back, then grudgingly lowered his pistol, though he didn’t holster it. Boris glared.

“ call her a bitch again and ill fuck your whole world up. No way I can have two seizes in a row. “ he said threateningly. Keigo stood up to protect Amelia. Even in an emense amount of pain he was willing to fight for Amelia

Maxim huffed,”You want to bet? I can make you have another fucking seizure right now. And she’s a fucking bitch, regardless.”

He lifted his pistol, aiming it at Keigo’s head. Amelia immediately replied by pulling the pistol from her boot and aiming it at Maxim.

“Don’t even think about hurting Keigo. I will blow your fucking brains off and watch you bleed out,”Amelia hissed.

“Fuck you!”

Abruptly, a shotgun went off, the aim just barely missing their mark. Maxim jumped and looked at Boris incredulously.

“That was a fucking warning shot. I only need one bullet for your sorry ass,”Boris hissed.

Jonathan then walked forward and snatched Maxim’s gun right out of his hand. Maxim whirled on him, fist flying. Jonathan easily ducked, and stole a second pistol from Maxim’s belt, and a knife from his boot. He then backed away, exiting the ring. Maxim moved to go after him.

“Rules of a pirate’s truce, brother. No fighting except in the ring. And I’m no longer in the ring,”Jonathan warned.

Maxim froze, noting the unusual finality in Jonathan’s eyes.

“What’re you doing, little brother?”

“I am staying out of the way. If ya want to fight, you’re fighting with fists. No tricks, no cheats. And, by the way, I’m done with the gang. The next time I go to the ship is my last time,”Jonathan said, his voice even.

“Same here,”Boris added.

Maxim seemed as if he was about to explode.

Keigo held his fists up, ready to fight maxim “ Amelia, out of the ring..” he mumbled, not looking at her.

Amelia hesitated, clearly torn between listening to Keigo or just shooting Maxim. After a moment though, she finally moved, putting her pistol back in her boot. Once she stood up, she hesitated again, turning to Keigo.

“Go for his crotch and lower back,”she whispered to Keigo. Amelia then moved to stand near Jonathan.

Boris made sure he was out of the ring and lowered his shotgun.

“I’m still going to settle our score, Emma,”Maxim hissed.

Amelia huffed, too pissed off to speak without launching at him.

Maxim then turned back to Keigo.

“Ready, seizure boy?”

Keigo growled when maxim spoke to him “ shut your fucking mouth and throw a hit already.” he spat out in rage. Keigo was watching for any weak spots. He knew right now his back, balls, and face area will put him on his ass but he wanted to make damn sure this hurt.

“What, too much of a pussy to go first?”Maxim taunted.

He punched for Keigo’s shoulder, then kicked at his gut with his metal leg.

Keigo took the first hit and was able to shoot himself backward to avoid the kick. He swung at maxim hitting him square in the side of the head, hoping to knock some sense into him.

Maxim growled in frustration at the miss, then stumbled to the side when Keigo hit him. He groaned.

“Fuck. That’s going to be a migraine,”he muttered.

He then kicked at Keigo again, before launching toward him, both fists punching multiple times.

Keigo tried to throw up his arms as a block, he had to be careful on hits to the head. Though once maxim has slowed Keigo knees him in the groin and kicked his chest, making space between the two.

Maxim grunted when Keigo hit him in the groin, then flew back to the ground with the kick. He lay there for a moment, groaning, then slowly got back up.

“Bitch move,”he said weakly.

He then kicked for Keigo’s groin, and punched for his throat.

It only took a couple of minutes for Keigo to recover. More thanks to a game he played as a kid, boys would kick each other in the nuts until one gave up. Usually the person going second gave up first, but after so long you build up a Tolerance to it. Keigo kicked for maxims head again, hoping to throw his ass for a loop from the quick shot.

“What the fuck…”Maxim said, confused by Keigo’s quick recovery.

When Keigo kicked him, his nose snapped again and he crumpled to the ground, unconscious.

“Well, that’s it then,”Boris said, setting his shotgun aside, grabbing his medicine bag, and entering the ring.

“Let’s hope he learns from this. But, I get the feeling he won’t,”Jonathan sighed, not moving at all.

Amelia didn’t say anything, instead just chuckling. Her eyes occasionally glanced at Keigo with concern.

Keigo had taken on a couple of large bruises and a cut that had come from somewhere on the near end of his eyebrow. He kept huffing out strained breaths. “ can put up one hell of a fight. “ he mumbled

“This is about as good as he gets. But, he usually chickens out and pulls a gun in the middle of the fight. Hence, why I disarmed him. He’s killed quite a few folks like that,”Jonathan sighed.

Boris approached Keigo first, ignoring Maxim.

“His busted nose can wait,”Boris commented.

Amelia approached Keigo.

“You alright?”she asked.

“ I'm good!” Keigo said with a slight smile “ avoided most of his head targeted shots. “ he said completely ignoring the kick to the balls.

Amelia chuckled, shaking her head and smiling.

“It’s a good thing you did. Otherwise, your medic might have kicked his ass just out of spite,”Boris commented, laughing.

Amelia and Jonathan laughed at that.

“Well, I suppose I and Boris should head out in a few to get our stuff, and maybe drag Bull with us. Hopefully Shank doesn’t get even more pissy. He’s a good pilot despite his backstabbing attitude,”Jonathan mentioned.

“ Just Call when you all are ready,” Keigo said and went back to Amelia's side. He put his hand in hers and smiled.

“I’m not carrying this asshole again,”Boris mentioned as he turned to leave.

“Fuck him. You got, like a tranquilizer, or whatever, to keep him passed out? I don’t have the patience to deal with him waking up while we’re still here,”Jonathan snorted.

“Sure,”Boris said.

He kneeled down next to Maxim, brought out a needle, and stabbed Maxim’s arm with it. Boris then stood up and kicked dirt as Maxim.

“That should keep him out for a few hours, at least, if not the rest of the day,”Boris said, then walked out.

Jonathan snorted, then sighed.

“Alright, see ya two in a minute,”he said, dramatically waving goodbye. Then he followed Boris out.

Amelia smiled warmly at Keigo.

“I’m glad you won this fight. To see you fuck him up like that is worth not putting a bullet in his skull,”she said quietly.

Keigo smiled warmly “ I was afraid you'd shoot me for telling you to get out of the ring. “ he said with a chuckle. He kissed her pulling away only a minute after, “let's get back to the ship and see if my old crew is gone. Hopefully, they've all packed and gone by now. “

Amelia giggled, shaking her head.

“I wouldn’t have shot you. I much prefer you in one piece. I would have shot Maxim instead,”she said, nodding toward Maxim, who was still unconscious and his nose still bleeding slightly.

She savored the kiss, then smiled again.

“Alright. Lead the way.”

Keigo walked with Amelia to his boat and waved as the men left. He kept toaci on his shoulder for his new crew. Meaning Johnathan and the others.

Amelia held Keigo’s hand as they walked back. She waved to the leaving crew as well. She then snickered at Toaci, gently petting him.

A few minutes later, Jonathan walked up, whistling and carrying a black suitcase.

“We figured we’d come separately to avoid any attention. So, how do ya feel about Shank joining, or would ya rather just leave him? I could care either way,”Jonathan asked casually.

A few minutes later, Boris appeared. The black-haired man that had been fighting earlier came shortly after, pulling a grumbling Shank along by his collar.

“How’s it going? Name’s Ben, but just call me Bull. I like guns and making deals. This old bastard is willing to join… and hopefully behave… if you’re willing to pay him. Though, you, you ol’ prick, ain’t going nowhere ‘til you apologize to Emma,”the black-haired man said, growling at Shank.

“Fuck you. Maxim paid me to go after Emma,”Shank retorted.

“You want a fist in the mouth again? You might be ex-military, but that’s just it, ex,”Bull hissed.

Shank scowled at Bull.

Keigo seemed to laugh “ any crew is welcome as long as toaci and Amelia are okay with it, Johnathan here has already made friends with toaci but you all with have to do the same. And mister get paid to hunt my partner here can earn his own wage by working on the ship, only if Amelia and toaci agree.” Keigo said a bit sternly in his captions voice.

Jonathan chuckled,”The man knows his rules. I’m already loving this.”

Boris shrugged casually.

“That’s cool that you have a bird. It’s been… years since I was last near something or someone that didn’t qualify as human or humanoid,”Boris commented.

“Yeah, same here. Though, I don’t remember the last time I was on a planet long enough to look around. Can’t afford getting caught, never can. Now, you gonna apologize yet?”Bull replied, turning back to Shank.

“She kicked me out her ship. Why should I apologize for a fight I lost?”Shank hissed.

Amelia moved over to Shank and grabbed him by the chin.

“Call it a test of your loyalty, Shank. If you don’t apologize in a way that convinces me, I will throw your ass out just like I did before,”Amelia hissed.

Shank glared, then sighed.

“Fuck this. Leave me here. I’m done with this shit,”Shank hissed.

Bull let him go and Shank huffed, dusted off his clothes, and walked off.

“Should I shoot him?”Bull asked.

Amelia shrugged, glancing at Keigo.
