Maxim grunted, then growled. He rolled onto his back and kicked repeatedly. He focused his strength on his metal leg, knowing that hits from it would definitely leave a mark.
Jonathan came back in, and grimaced. He moved back to the medic, feeling unusually nervous. The medic glanced at him.
“Who’s the big guy, Beta-Man? That the one from Shank’s story?”the medic asked.
“Yeah. He’s a good guy, but I hope he realizes that Max likes to cheat,”Jonathan said
Keigo took a couple of hits before rolling backward, he went to check his watch before realizing he'd forgotten it on the ship. He seemed to go a little pale but shook it off. Keigo waited for maxim to get back up, kicking him squarely in the chest.
Jonathan noticed Keigo’s look and slowly started to approach the edge of the ring. Something was wrong, and he wasn’t about to let Maxim kill a friend.
Maxim flew back to the ground with a grunt, coughing a moment before getting back up.
“Good one. I like your style,”Maxim commented.
He then kicked at Keigo with his metal leg, aiming for his knee and hoping to break it.
Amelia started to stir, moaning drowsily. She somewhat remembered that Keigo had gotten up. Stretching and yawning, she took her time to get up.
Amelia rolled over and sat up, then noticed Keigo’s watch on the table. She froze. Had he left it or forgotten it? Where was he?
Amelia quickly got dressed and grabbed the watch, hoping to find Keigo before something bad happened.
Keigo jumped back, but his reactions were slowing. something was up. Though he was starting to struggle Keigo kept his guard up, only taking a couple of maxims blows and avoiding the kicks at all cost. Keigo took a low blow at maxim, not exactly a cheap shot but enough to buy him time to uncloud his mind…
Maxim snarled in frustration, his anger distracting him so much that he didn’t notice Keigo’s strike. He yelped, falling to the ground again, then kicked at Keigo.
Jonathan watched closely, waiting for Maxim to try something. However, he instead noticed that Keigo was distracted. Something was definitely wrong.
He brought up a pad he kept with him and looked at the map of the docks. He found Keigo’s ship and hacked into it, searching for someone that could be a medic. When he found the guy, he hacked into his messaging pad and quickly typed a message to him.
“I’m a friend of Keigo and Emma. You might want to get to the fighting tent fast. Something’s not right. I have a medic near me, but he doesn’t know Keigo.”
Jonathan sent the message and hoped for the best.
Amelia grimaced as she left Keigo’s ship. She hadn’t seen him anywhere inside, and could only wonder where he was.
Keigo had been waiting for maxim to get back up but was surprised when someone came up and called it. A Referee? He didn't know but as soon as it was called Keigo hit his knees.
Keigo's medic had gotten the message, he thought quickly and send the message to Amelia along with a tag that said: “ get to him quickly.” he then grabbed an on site med bag and rushed to the tent.
Maxim turned to the guy that had ended the fight.
“What the fuck? We were just getting started!”
He then noticed Keigo fall to his knees and his eyes narrowed in confusion.
“You really didn’t stand a chance, did you?”he snorted.
Jonathan walked up to Maxim as the bald medic approached Keigo.
“Ya can’t shut the fuck up, can ya?”he asked.
Maxim glared at Jonathan.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”he asked.
“This…”Jonathan said, just before he kicked Maxim hard in the face. Maxim dropped, unconscious, with a broken nose.
Amelia got the message from Keigo’s medic and gasped. She then rushed to the fighting tent.
She quickly realized what had happened and kneeled next to Keigo, putting his watch back on. She avoided looking at Maxim.
“Boris, you better be as good as you were a year ago,”Amelia said the bald medic. She then turned to Keigo.
“Your medic, I never got his name, got a message. He’s on the way,”she said quietly.
“That was me that messaged your guy,”Jonathan commented.
Amelia glanced at Jonathan,”Thank you.”
He nodded.
“ out of the tent! Everyone! Give him some room!” the guy called, it was then Keigo seized, it wasn't a red zone but it wasn't very far from being red zone either Finally keigos medic got there “ watch! Get it on him now!” he yelled pulling out multiple instruments to check Keigo down
( now Amelia has seen Keigo seize.)

Amelia hesitantly moved out of the way, but lingered, not wanting to leave Keigo’s side. She watched as people left, and it amazed her how big the tent was when empty. She then waited, breathing deep to keep herself calm, though her hands still visibly shook.
Jonathan’s eyes widened when Keigo started to seize and he dragged Maxim’s unconscious body out of the way, muttering curses to his brother. He glanced at Keigo occasionally, a little freaked out but understanding that he didn’t have the knowledge to help.
Boris lingered nearby as well, searching through his own bag to check what supplies he had.
“I’m a medic as well. If you need any help or anything, you let me know. That guy over there can deal with a broken nose for a while,”Boris said to Keigo’s medic.
The medic nodded “ Amerix is my name, and Keigo just needs to pull out of it, it will take him a couple of minutes to come back but he’ll pull through” he kept talking about how keigos seizes worked and what was signs to tell if he was about to have one, he also explained his watch and what the colors meant to Johnathan. Eventually, Keigo pulled out and sat up after ten minutes of being back in his head “ where ..wheres Amelia ?” was the first thing he asked.
Amelia immediately approached and sat down next to Keigo, gently taking his hand in both of hers. The physical contact helped soothe her.
“I’m right here, Keigo,”she said.
Boris looked to Jonathan, noting Keigo’s use of ‘Amelia’. Jonathan waved for Boris to wait until later for an explanation.
“Well, I suppose I should go tend to this shithead,”Boris sighed, moving over to Maxim.
He didn’t bother to correct the man’s broken nose, instead just stopped the bleeding. Jonathan snorted, sighing.
“Ya planning on what I think ya are?”Jonathan asked Boris.
“Yup. I’m not a mean guy, but I’ll enjoy breaking this bastard’s nose again to fix it.”
Jonathan snorted again.
Keigo pulled Amelia into a well-needed hug “ everything hurts..” he mumbled, tucking his head into the crook of Amelia's neck. He was scared maxim would wake up at any moment and he was in no shape to fight yet.
Amelia held him, gently rubbing his back.
“It’ll be alright. It’ll pass. I’m right here, love, and I’m not going anywhere,”she whispered.
Jonathan watched them, gaining a new respect for Keigo. That he would fight Maxim despite his condition was something to be admired.
He then turned to Maxim, sighing resignedly. He figured it would be best to separate him and Keigo before Maxim woke. He didn’t know what his brother would do, and with Amelia around, he wasn’t sure if Maxim would survive either.
“Boris, ya need help carrying my shitbag brother out of here?”he asked.
“Nah. I think I got him. He moves though, and I’m dropping him without hesitation,”Boris replied, throwing Maxim over shoulder.
“I hope Bull went back to the ship. Shank’s been pissy since he got the shit kicked out of him,”Jonathan commented.
“Yeah, I think he is. And that’s where I’m going,”Boris said, walking out of the tent.
Jonathan nodded, watching the man go. He glanced back at the pair, wondering if he should say something.
Keigo stayed gratefully in Amelia's arms, calming his heart and his mind. He lifted his head up when they said something about maxim, he wondered how in the hell he got knocked out.
Amelia continued to hold Keigo, unwilling to let him go until he was ready.
Jonathan swayed side to side a moment, a bit jittery from everything that had just happened. He then cleared his throat, composing himself.
“Ya going to be alright there?”he asked Keigo.
Keigo looked up at Johnathan and let go of Amelia “ I'm sorry you guys had to see that.”
Amelia kept a hand on his shoulder, both for herself and him.
“I would rather know what to expect than not know,”she replied.
Jonathan shrugged,”I guess I’m with Emma. Max is going to be pissed when he wakes, and he won’t appreciate the fact that I kicked him in the face just to shut him up. I don’t know what’ll happen, but me, Boris, and Bull are all thinking of leaving. The once great Tricky Skippers gang is dying.”
Jonathan sighed, shrugging again. Amelia looked at him.
“The gang had a great run,”she said.
“Yeah. I figure I’ll go back, drink a final toast to the gang, and be on my own way. I could do with a couple years away from Max. He might be my brother, but fuck is it difficult to be around him.”
Amelia snorted.
“ I've got a room on the ship, my crew splits tomorrow. I only hire people for so long until they get to where they're going, soo” keigo was clearly offering them to still stay a team, “ plus, you guys sound fun, and maybe I won't have to wake you all with a God damn air horn.”
Amelia snickered at the mention of the air horn. Jonathan considered Keigo’s words a moment.
“Very tempting. I’ll see what the other two think. My concern is putting a damn target on all of us. Shank doesn’t like to lose, and Max, well… is a stalking piece of shit. With all of us together, they’ll both be after us. Though, we might be able to buy Shank off, because that’s all he’s after. I don’t know, Bull handles stuff like this better than I do,”Jonathan said.
“ I'll be waiting,” Keigo said with a laugh, he smiled afterward but thought about maxim “ I wonder if he realized I would have beaten his ass had I not seized.”
Jonathan chuckled, then sighed and rolled his eyes.
“He’s too arrogant to acknowledge if ya had beaten him at all. Max is one of those people that thinks he’s powerful enough to beat god, but when ya slap him he screams for mommy and cries on the floor. And… that’s actually a true story. We were kids when I slapped him,”Jonathan said, chuckling a bit.
Amelia snickered,”That explains a lot.”
Keigo looked to Amelia with a bemused smile “ explains what,” he asked with a laugh from Johnathan's comment
“Explains why he can be such a chickenshit, and why he cries in his room when he loses a bet,”Amelia said with a laugh.
“Well, I was thinking it, and she said it. That is fucking funny! He has yet to learn how to properly take it when he loses. In other words, he’s a pussy that thinks he’s big shit,”Jonathan said.
Amelia laughed,”The fact that you said that…”
“I’ve been hanging around Bull. He calls Max a pussy almost every day,”Jonathan said, snickering.
Keigo had been laughing too, feeling better and a lot less pain now he was distracted from it. “ you guys are hilarious “ he said between laughs
“Yeah, all we do is talk shit, steal, and look at big women,”Jonathan replied, laughing.
“‘We’? I thought that was just you,”Amelia joked.
Jonathan laughed even more.
“You’re right! But just wait, Bull’s in training. Give him another month and he’ll be just like me, and he won’t even know it!”
“ Ohh no,” Keigo said with a laugh, then he heard someone walk in and every hair of his stood on end.
