"Bit, do you like my hair down?" Nora asked it, and Bit whizzed around Cor's head. Yes, yes, yes.
"I think that's your answer," Nora said with a smile and a small laugh.
"Bit, do you like my hair down?" Nora asked it, and Bit whizzed around Cor's head. Yes, yes, yes.
"I think that's your answer," Nora said with a smile and a small laugh.
Cor nodded, smiling as Bit buzzed his head. “Glad you agree, Bit.” he chuckled with Nora.
Yes, Bit beeped, bobbing just above Cor's head.
Cor chuckled again, pulling Nora closer to kiss the top of her head.
(I can't find my Flynn's Arcade t-shirt anywhere ;-;)
Nora blushed again, her light lines turning pink.
(Oh, no!!!! 😱 I almost wish I was your neighbor so I could come over and help you find it.)
Cor smiled, lightly resting his head against her.
(I've looked everywhere! It's a good thing I'm going home soon so I can look for it there)
(Also shall we skip to when they have to leave?)
(🤞Hope you find it!)
(Sure. A time skip is fine with me.)
Eventually, Nora's hair was dry enough that she figured she could restyle it. Plucking her disc off of her back, she navigated to the hairstyle section and began swiping through the options, looking for her regular bun.
Cor sat quietly, running his fingers through her hair one last time before she moved to put it back up. He had really enjoyed just spending time with Nora like this but he figured it was probably about time to get back to the city…
"We should head back soon," Nora said, finding her hairstyle at last. Her finger hovered over the 'select' button, cautious, thinking. Should she keep her hair down?
Cor hummed softly in acknowledgment, with a brief nod. “At least the fire’s died down enough.” he commented, kicking some dust onto the already fading embers.
(I watch Kurzgesagt videos, and sometimes they mention Dyson spheres (a thing designed to capture energy from a star), and every single bloody time they do, my brain goes, DYSON? KILL HIM THAT VICIOUS LITTLE -)
Nora prodded the button; there was a brief flash, and her hair reappeared in its usual bun.
(lol 😆 Every time I heard his name, I think of the vacuums… Which kinda makes sense because he sucks.)
Cor reluctantly, slowly, peeled himself away from her to stand up. Though he had to pause for a moment and stretch out his stiff limbs.
Nora stood up, stretching gracefully. There was an almost catlike way to the way she did.
Shrugging the blanket off of her shoulders, she began to fold it neatly. "Where do you want me to put this?"
Cor smiled softly at her as he watched her stretch… Though his lights flashed pink a moment later. “Umm, we can just put it over there.” he said, pointing to the general area where he had grabbed the firestick earlier.
Nora nodded, giving the blanket one last fold and walking over to that area, her heels clicking softly on the floor.
Cor smiled softly as he finished putting out the fire. Watching her walk was almost hypnotizing… but he was trying his hardest not to stare because that would be embarrassing.
Nora walked back over to him, the light from the last embers flickering over her face before they snuffed out. "Lead the way."
“Alright.” Cor nodded, reaching a hand out for her to take so she wouldn't get lost. Not that the way out was complicated but… He still wanted to be a gentleman for her.
(Legacy turns 11 today!)
Nora smiled softly and took his hand, glancing up at the ceiling. "Come on, Bit."
(😮 So cool!)
Cor smiled back before following her gaze to look for the third member of their little group.
Bit floated down from the ceiling reluctantly and bobbed after them.
“Don’t wander off.” Cor chuckled softly to both of them before he started leading the way out of the room.
Bit obediently followed them. Nora's heels clicked softly, her long legs allowing her to keep up with Cor's pace.
Cor smiled when he saw Bit following and continued walking at a calm pace, still wanting to enjoy some more time with Nora.
Nora waited when they reached the Recogniser doors for Cor to get his lightcycle.
Cor carefully guided her to the main doors, only letting go of her hand when they were outside to lock up. Though he made sure to let her see the code since he had told her she could come back if she wanted to needed to. “Ready to go back?” he asked, rezzing in his bike.
Nora nodded, rezzing in her helmet. Making sure that Bit was nearby, she climbed onto the bike behind Cor, wrapping her arms around his waist.
Cor smirked as she climbed on and waited until he felt she had a good grip before driving back towards the city.
