Keigo smiled. “ I didn't think you were.” he said softly “ coming on the ship any time soon?”

Amelia thought about question for a long moment.

“I honestly don’t know. I’m sure the ship itself is quite fascinating, but, like I said earlier, I haven’t been around others for a while, particularly after having to lay low,”she answered, rolling her eyes at the last bit.

“ The crews in their rooms by now, you could come to mine,” he offered.

She blushed slightly at his words.

“Tempting… but I want a tour of the ship first,”she replied.

(So, how do you want the ships to be connected, and how does traveling between them work? Are they attached to either other, with a door? Something else? I’m blanking at the moment)

“ okay Emma, “ he smiled.

(Okay. And, just for the hell of it, you want to describe the ships? I was thinking Amelia’s was ovalish and sleek with little ‘wings’ on top, and four landing gear legs that can retract while in-flight. Something like that)

Amelia smiled, waved goodbye, then ended the video chat. She then suited up, triple checking herself to be sure she was prepared, then exited her ship, hooking her suit to the wires between the two ships, and pulled herself to Keigo’s ship, waiting for the door to be opened.

Despite her nervousness at being around others, she was calm. Amelia had gone out like this multiple times over the years to repair her ship, so it was a familiar sensation.

Keigo opened the vac seal and then the door. In his own suit. “ hurry up.”

Amelia snorted and entered the ship, closing the door behind her and waiting for the air to stabilize. She then took off her helmet and grinned at him.

“Rushing, are you? Do you not like the floating sensation? It’s actually quite fun for me, though half the time I don’t even notice it because I’m doing repairs,”Amelia teased him.

“ no I don't like it, “

Amelia shrugged.

“It’s alright. Not every spacer likes the lack of gravity. Shall we?”

“ We shall,” he said holding his hand out for her. Keigo smiled warmly, mumbled something to himself and started the tour.

“What are you mumbling? Are do I dare ask?”Amelia wondered.

She headed into the ship, following Keigo on the tour. She admired the mechanics, mentally picking apart how pieces were built and ways they could be fixed if needed.

“ it's nothing, just admiring how beautiful you are,” he said while a red blush crossed his face.

Amelia giggled, blushing a little as well.

“I wouldn’t say that. Considering this thing,”she tapped her metal jaw,”and my arm, which could probably rip out someone else’s arm if I tried.”

She hesitated then, a small smile lingering on her lips because of his compliment.

“I’ve been admiring your gorgeous looks from day one,”she mumbled, deliberately saying it just loud enough for him to hear.

Keigo's face went a little darker, “ thanks, and your still beautiful”

Amelia smiled, then noticed his expression darken. She sighed apologetically.

“I’m sorry. It’s been a while, and I’ve always been a little… shy, I guess… about my metal pieces. That, and the last man I was with… let’s just say, he exploited me. He got his lesson though, in the end.”

“ it's not that. Honestly, we both have had a bad history. The last girl I was with got killed because I seized.”

“I’m sorry that happened to you. Is that why you seemed a little less cheery a moment ago, or is it something else?”she asked quietly.

She rubbed the scar on her neck, not sure what else to say.

“ it's nothing,” he said shutting his feelings down and continuing through. “ and this is the crew quarters. “ he said going into his room, it was decorated in blue l.e.d.s and a bed built into the wall, toaci sat on his bird swing and squeaked when Keigo came in “ I'm back bud, and I brought a friend”

Amelia simply nodded, inwardly a little concerned by his reaction.

She then gazed around a bit before shyly entering Keigo’s room.

“I like how you put blue lights in. I just have the generic white,”she said, snickering.

She then smiled at Toaci.

“And who is this?”she asked Keigo.

“ toaci, “ he said. And in fact toaci started talking when his name was said “ pretty lady! Pretty lady! Reee” Keigo started laughing as he got the bird's food ready and a water bowl set out.

Amelia laughed when Toaci spoke.

“That’s so cute and sweet. You’re pretty too, Toaci,”she said.

She then watched Keigo, smiling and still snickering.

Keigo looked up to Emma and his cheeks flushed red “ t..toaci, supper.” he mumbled as the bird came flying in over and perched on the table. “you're pretty too” he said and clicked his beak before eating.

Amelia noticed Keigo’s blush and stutter, giggling.

She then laughed again at Toaci’s reply.

Keigo sat on his bed, taking off his railroad. His Scarred arms now visible. He rubbed lotion of the scars, most looked like I.v scars.

Amelia leaned against the wall, watching Keigo and admiring his features. She then looked at all of the scars, wondering if they were connected to his epilepsy.

She became quiet, absorbed in her examination of Keigo. For the first time in a long while, she found herself relaxing, truly relaxing.

Keigo didn't notice her stares but yawned slightly, putting toaci in his cage and covering it with a blanket.

“Getting tired, are you?”she teased.

Amelia watched him put Toaci up, then suppressed a yawn of her own. She couldn’t help giggling because of it.
