Bustop smiled at Charlie's cold grasp, and he curled into a smaller ball, the tall boys arms wrapping fully around him. He put his head on Charlie's chest and breathed deeply.

Charlie fell back asleep within 10 minutes, sleeping soundly beside him.

It was Bustop who woke up this time, with a stinging pain in his abdomen. He had never felt this kind of stomach ache before. He was going to stand up but fell on the floor from the pain, hitting it with a thump. "WHERE'S THE BATHROOM CHARLIE!!!" he began to scream as he hyperventilated on the ground.

Charlie woke up abruptly, pointing to the bathroom door. He was still half asleep, but was incredibly worried.

Bustop ran to the bathroom and it was all downhill from there. All you could hear from the outside were groans of pain.

Charlie got up, standing outside the door. “….are you okay?……”

Bustop wiped his mouth from the vomit that was now lining it " Not really…" he held his stomach and hurled again. "I think I ate too much…" he groaned and winced, breathing sharply "It feels like I have knife stabbing the inside of my stomach"

He nodded. “It happens sometimes….”

He vomited again " I've never had it happen to me… I never eat this much" he coughed. He was crying, tears flowing down his cheeks as he sat with his head above the toilet. " I hate it."

Charlie rubbed his back gently, wiping his face with a towel. “I know….I know……it’s gonna be alright….”

He hurled one last time and hung his head in disgust "Sorry about your toilet" he tried to joke, but it didn't come out right, so everything he said just sounded sad. The tears were still rolling down his face as he looked down into the toilet. He had gotten rid of everything in his stomach now. "Thank though. You're really nice Charlie."

Charlie rubbed his back, trying to reassure him. “It’s alright….I’m just glad you’re okay….”

Bustop began to cry less, still gasping a little with every breath "I… let's go back to bed." he said, leaning into Charlie's grasp a little. "If that's ok." he closed his eyes and sniffled

He nodded, picking Bustop up and carrying him back to bed. Charlie lied him down, tucking him in again before lying down again.

"I'm sorry… for waking you up" he sighed, tucking his face into Charlie's chest in shame "I guess I just… overdid it today" his warm tears streamed from his face onto Charlie "Sorry"

“…..it’s fine, really….” Charlie held him close.

Bustop stopped crying, though his eyes were still watery "Thanks… thanks a lot" he didn't know what he was thanking Charlie for, but everything about this moment felt so comfortable, he couldn't help but feel better. His face grew warm and he closed his eyes, not falling asleep, simply, being there, with Charlie.

Charlie started to fall back asleep, holding Bustop tight. He stroked his hair gently, slowly stopping as he fell asleep.

Bustop slowly fell asleep again as well, as Charlie stroked his curly hair. He put one of his four ears on Charlie's chest and fell asleep to the beat of his heart.
