Hiro smiled slightly and nudged it “ go on, try it out.”
Hiro smiled slightly and nudged it “ go on, try it out.”
The spider didn’t move. Malcolm snickered.
“He will not follow your commands. None of them will. Now, get the fuck out. I hate the company of organic folk.”
Malcolm returned to the shelf of vials, moving the vials onto the counter and organizing them between unbroken, damaged, and destroyed. He sighed sorrowfully as he noticed less than half of the vials were not damaged.
Hiro sighed “ had you not attacked, we wouldn't be here.”
“You came into my home, without my permission! And you attacked first! I threw a chunk of metal at the counter to distract you, you fucking idiot, and he was simply guarding me,”Malcolm snapped, indicating the spider as he spoke.
“ we weren't here to harm you! Just to return the dumbass ants!” he said raising his voice ( yeah the doc and hiro could be friends
Now: at each others throats)
(snickering)
“They would have returned at my command. They’re my machines, my spies! And you decided to attack them as well! They’re harmless!”Malcolm hissed.
“ harmless!? Look at William! That's not fucking harmless!”
“The spies, dumbass, are harmless,”he deadpanned.
He pointed at the spider.
“My friend, there, is a guard. He’s meant to be harmful.”
The spider flashed blue, as if in agreement.
Hiro let out a growl and used his powers to splash the old man in the face with water, going back outside to William
Malcolm winced as his left eye shorted out. He sighed and moved to one of the counters, pulling out a drawer filled with spare eyes.
He unscrewed the old one, replacing it, and looked around a moment as he adjusted to the new one.
“Like water is going to do much to me. And that’s a woman’s move. I’ve never seen a man splash someone with a drink, or magic water,”he snorted.
The spider stood and crawled to Malcolm, settling in front of him and flashing, requesting repairs. Malcolm grabbed the spider, returning it to the table, and pulled out his toolkit again. He tinkered at the other broken pieces, noting that the three repaired legs were now solidly connected to the body. He shrugged.
Hiro sat outside and sighed. “ never get along with people dad said. Well that's what you get for birthing a test rat child in a damn lab” he mumbled to himself.
Malcolm overheard and burst into laughter. He finished repairing the spider and it flew back up to its perch.
He grabbed his broom and hammer, continuing to clean up. He still laughed.
Hiro walked back to his napping spot and slept.
William walked towards him, but midway, he just fell asleep on the road.
Hiro heard the thud, looking up he sighed. “ damn it kid.”
William was dead asleep, regardless of the pain he felt.
Hiro went over and picked William up, he kept looking down at the boy's ears. Hed saw something like that before though he absentmindedly scratched at Williams's ears.
William… vibrated, sort of, when you scratched his ear. It was almost like a purr.
Hiro smiled slightly. “ exactly like a kit” he said
William didn't snore and was pretty light. He would react whenever you touched his ears, but other than that he was silent.
“ I need to take you somewhere safe.. “ he said more to himself than anything. Walking to his old bunker, lights hung from the ceiling in small Chinese lanterns. Blankets covered the floor and walls for insulation. A small possession of before the end objects sat around the room.
(do you wanna timeskip to when william wakes up)
( sure)
William opened his eyes, slowly. He looked around while scratching his own ears. His eyes transitioned from slits to normal, he yawned/purred, then looked at Hiro. "Oh! Hello…"
“ heya kit” he said solemnly while sketching.
"Hey…" He yawned again. "Where are we…?" He looked around some more.
( sorry had my teeth getting filled)
“ my hideout.” he answered, looking up from the paper.
"Oh… cool!" Letting his cat impulses take over, he crawled over and lied next to Hiro. "What're you drawing?"
“ well I was drawing you, but I don't usually do moving drawing. “ he said, once again scratching at Williams ears.
