Miles was the first of the pair to wake, but didn’t move from his position whatsoever, waking Franziska was highly illegal, as far as he knew, like moving a cat once they laid down on you. It would take a very close look to even tell he was awake, in the first place. He watched the others as they spoke, but stayed completely silent, himself.

Maya stretched her arms as she stood up, smiling sheepishly at the witch and apologizing for using Hildegard's legs as a pillow. The witch shrugged. "It was no problem, Fräulein Maya. I am used to such things." She paused and in a fond voice continued, "I have a sister who does the same thing. You remind me of her." Maya's interest had been piqued. Maybe she could learn more about this sister of hers. And maybe Maya could tell her about Pearl. However, she didn't have a chance to speak as Hildegard stood up, took out her wand, and flicked it. A small glowing box appeared in the air, and Hildegard made a small noise. "Well then, I'll see what I can find to eat. I'd doubt the group will survive on berries and edible plants alone." The box disappeared, and with that, Hildegard started walking off to gods knows where.

Maya sat down on the log and watched as Rin appeared. "I slept well, all things considered," she answered. "Funny enough, I slept better than I would back home." Her eyes strayed around the site and then landed on Franziska and on Edgeworth….wait…Edgeworth? Maya blinked and rubbed her eyes. Surely, she was wrong? What would Edgeworth be doing in the middle of somewhere? Maya was confused. Very confused. It seemed that she had no recollection of Miles' appearance last night. "What in the world…..?" She paused and turned towards Rin. "Hey, RinRin…do you know when the guy next to Franziska appeared? 'Cause I'm pretty sure he was not here last night."

Miles nodded politely at her after carefully lifting his head, glancing at his sister, who was twitching in her sleep like a dog; she was probably trying to whip someone in her dream, or something. It was honestly a sweet divergence from her usual self, despite its implications. The man huffed, likely finding the situation amusing.

"Uh, Lumi? That's yours to answer. I was in a state of restorative serenity." RinRin said.

Lumi looked up. "Yeah," she said, her thoughts foggy. "He showed up last night, soaking wet and halfway drowning." She was aware that Miles was awake because of her… Medical Vision. That's what I can call it, she thought.

Varuni's new arm seemed to be stiff, not moving much. varuni groaned. "I assume none of you know how to speed up adaption to a new arm?"

She furrowed her eyebrows, trying to remember MIles arriving. Maybe she was already asleep when he arrived? But no, she distinctly remembered someone arriving and commenting how they looked like….oh. Well then, there was that. "Ah, no, sorry. Though I'd bet adjusting to a whole new arm is a real pain."

"Yeah.. It stays stiff for weeks…"

Sky noticed that almost everyone was awake by now. “I guess I should at least try to socialize…” she muttered to herself. She jumped off the tree branch, landing perfectly on her feet and walking over to join the others. “…hello.” She greeted them awkwardly. well, that was a horrible attempt at socializing… she thought.
