Lumi sees the one girl's emotion. She still doesn't know her name, so she decides to do something. (sky) Lumi makes a small spark flash just within the girl's vision, trying to get her attention.
Sky turns toward the spark, stepping back slightly. “What in the…” she mumbles, then trails off.

(So true…)
The girls continued talking and somewhere between their conversation, Maya decided to use Hildegard's legs as a pillow. The witch let out a small laugh and looked up to see Franziska and the newcomer. She listened as the man was introduced. Under different circumstances, Hildegard would probably stand up to greet him, but she was rather tired and she did have a half-asleep Maya on her legs. "Welcome to the group, Herr Edgeworth. I am Hildegard Kaiser, at your service."
"Ello fancy man," Maya mumbled to Miles. "Mmm, comfy."
Franziska frowned as Maya laid on the witch, but quickly went back to introducing Miles, who looked agitated.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all." He nodded politely, though very confused to see the medium was here as well. "And to see you again, Maya Fey."
Franziska went back to her spot, and sat down, Miles following behind and sitting half an arm's length away. She glanced at him before sighing and reaching over, picking leaves from his overcoat. "You are utterly filthy, Miles Edgeworth. I wonder just how you survived when you left for America." She muttered, squeezing the water from his bangs. The other prosecutor silently allowed it, but winced as she tugged a bit too hard on his hair. "Oh, don't be such a child."
Lumi made the lightning flash towards her, where she sat under a tree, gazing at the stars in the night sky. The message was clear, come sit with me for a while, please. It wasn't threatening, just inviting in a friendly manner.
Sky followed the lightning flash hesitantly. She saw Lumi and felt the message, sitting next to her and pulling her knees to her chest. “Hello— uh, my name is Sky.”
"Lumi." she responded. "I can see you have anxiety. It's hard to explain how i can tell. I guess it's like thermal imaging, except emotions and injuries." she smiles. 'Your hair is a very nice color by the way. It suits you."
Sky looked a bit surprised at Lumi’s compliment. “Oh- thank you..” she relaxed slightly, smiling a little.
"Hm." she nods, looking up at the sky. "You see that,' she says pointing to the sky, "that's Orion's belt." i hope this will help ease communication. she thinks to herself.
(i can't think of anything lol)
(No worries)
She looked up to where Lumi was pointing at the sky. Her facial expression shifted into awe. “I’ve always loved the constellations… sometimes I’d climb up to my roof and stare at the sky when I was feeling upset.”
(Random on-the-spot backstory unlocked lmao)
(Oh oof I gotta go in 5 mins)
"Ich frage mich, ob es dir gut geht, Adelaide," Hildegard mumbled as she slowly got in a position she could fall asleep, trying not to wake the spirit medium. She let out a small yawn and turned to Franziska. "Do try to get some sleep, Fran. We wouldn't want our leader to collapse, now would we?" She laid her head against the log she had been sitting on earlier and closed her eyes, the flames crackling in the cool night luring her to sleep.
“It’s still Franziska.” She replied. Though, it was a compelling argument, really. A leader as strong, intelligent, and amazing as herself should be kept in peak condition, after all. Of course, that only half convinced her, enough to just settle down, still helping her “little” brother dry off, taking his jabot and holding it in front of the fire as Miles folded his vest and overcoat.
Edgeworth was silently observing the camp, taking in as much information as possible about the setting, and the people. He wasn’t exactly the talkative type anyway.
Not too long after she started helping, Franziska found herself tiring, putting her weight on Miles’ shoulder to keep herself upright, which didn’t really work out, as she had fallen asleep soon after, her brother only awake for a few seconds longer, as well.
Varuni came back fairly late, but she had a new arm. questioning it's source is not advised. she climbed up and sat in a tree, falling asleep against the trunk.
(Does everyone want a timeskip?)
(yeah i'd think that be for the best or else were just gonna be stuck here lol)
(to morning?)
(i'm guessing yes)
(k) When the sun started to rise, varuni groaned, covering her head.
Morning came way too quickly for Hildegard's liking. She felt like she had just fallen asleep moments prior, and by now she'd probably complain to Adelaide that it was still night and that she should go back to sleep. But she was not in her house in Berlin with her sister. She was in the middle of nowhere with a group that consisted of muggles, skeletons, and other magical beings. She let out a small groan and felt something on her legs. It took her a while to recall the events of last night and how the spirit medium had decided to use her legs as a pillow. Ever so slowly, Hildegard sat up straight, trying her best not to wake Maya up. Though her efforts were for naught, as the spirit medium woke only moments after.
(No idea what to say)
Varuni got up, even though she didnt want to. she jumped down from the tree, and flexed her arm
Lumi woke to the sound of a loud bird. She sat up groggily, trying to remember where she was. Then it came flowing back to her. Forest, people, adventure. Got it. Wonder if RinRin is up yet? She walked out of her tent with a big yawn. She saw some of the others awake. "morning."
RinRin allowed himself to be drawn out of the restorative meditation, his version of sleeping that helped to maintain his powers. He stood and decided to walk out of the tent like a normal person for once. Then the idea of being normal disgusted him, so he teleported right outside the door instead. He smiled when he saw the others were already awake. "How'd y'all sleep?" he asked.
Sky had moved to a different tree and climbed up in the middle of the night. She was now laying on a tree branch staring at the sky. She had a tired look that said she didn’t get much sleep, if any at all. She was used to restless nights.
