Of course, she didn’t really know the witch’s powers, so couldn’t really give permission. But it’s likely, even if she did, she would deny.
Franziska was a little surprised that Maya had approached her, quickly looking her up and down, as if she was making sure she was real, and not some sort of apparition. “Yes.” She replied, her voice breaking a little from pain. “Ahem. Yes, I am perfectly fine. Though I can’t say the same for my blouse.” Franziska answered, trying to weave her way through questions about her well-being.
(A von Karma must be perfect. No injuries or falters allowed.)
"Does anyone need a broken skeletal arm, or should i just bury it. crushed up, it makes good fertilizer." Varuni asked, only slightly kidding. she took the empty arm of her shirt and threw it over her shoulder.
Maya looked at Franziska suspiciously, clearly not believing her. But she knew how stubborn both Franziska and her brother were, so she would drop the subject. For now, at least. "Okay, that's good," she said as she eyes the blouse. "I don't think we can do anything about it right now. Maybe we'll get lucky and find a village. We could probably get you a new one there."
"i don't need my outer blouse, i have a white one on underneath. would you like to borrow mine until we get to a village?" Varuni asked, tired of being ignored.
The prosecutor seemed to find Varuni’s broken arm quips a bit amusing. I guess she liked corpse humor.
“That is true, Ms. Fey. So I will just-“ Franziska grabbed her tattered sleeve and ripped it clean off, “-do this for now.” She then proceeded to collect the gems from her cuff, scowling as she used the scrap to clean her muscular arm of blood, inspecting her wounds with caution.
“Ah, that’s hardly necessary, or sanitary, but thank you.” She denied the offer in a surprisingly polite fashion.
Sky stood awkwardly, clearing the shadows around her. “So… does anybody know where I am right now?”
(I feel like there’s a time zone difference 💀 I can’t seem to respond at very good times for the rest of y’all)
(honestly, i just respond when i have the time)
After getting no response, Hildegard put her wand away. She turned towards the newcomer and shrugged. "None of us would be able to tell you, fräulein. We've been walking around in this strange place for a while now."
“Oh. Well… it doesn’t seem like I’ll be able to return to where I came from. Do you mind if I join you..?” The young woman looked a bit anxious. “I probably can’t survive in a new place alone. I’m not very experienced with using my umbrakinesis, and that’s the only defense I have.”
Franziska looked back to Maya, inhaling in the way someone does before speaking, but she didn’t, instead, holding her head. She felt woozy, looking like she was about to fall, and she was angry about it. How utterly embarrassing! How could she, a von Karma be so frail?! How dare- ow, ow, ow- rage does not feel good with broken ribs-
Maybe she needs help.
Sky looked at Franziska, her expression shifting to concern. “Uh— are you okay? You look like you’re injured..”
(No durr shkdhsdj but idk what to say)
(You don’t need to say anything if you don’t want, you can just wait for someone to reply to your original post)
(ohhh ok sjkdhs, sorry about that-)
(Haven’t done this in a while pff)
"Yeah, sure, why not," Hildegard replied with a shrug. "The more the merrier. Maybe will be able to find a way out of wherever we are soon."
"It'll be ok," Maya says in a soft voice, as she places a hand on the prosecutor's shoulder. "Don't worry, it'll be all fine."
(literally unsure how to put in an entry of my character rn)
(I'm confused are you playing two characters, @spacebluelily )
“Wait- really?” Sky asked. She hadn’t expected her to say yes. “I mean- uh, thanks. I really appreciate it.”
(You don’t need to reply if you don’t want to, like @The_Painted_Wings said)
(i want to do that! I've actually been working on a character, lemme finish and insert, i have the perfect idea on how to bring then into the story)
"It'll be ok," Maya says in a soft voice, as she places a hand on the prosecutor's shoulder. "Don't worry, it'll be all fine."
Franziska looked…confused, as if she had never heard someone speak like that before. And astonishingly, it seemed to immediately work, and she just kinda…softened, in every sense of the word. Of course, while this didn't fix the pain situation, it definitely calmed her down.
