Holy shit, I hadn't had meat since I got to campus and it's only been a couple days, but I just had a really shitty caf burger and WOW it was so good. Turns out I will not be becoming a full time vegetarian
Also when my roommate and I went to Walmart, I got microwaveable mushrooms

Being full vegetarian on campus is super hard unless your school caters to different dietary needs well.
Despite all my best efforts, I became big anemic trying to eat vegetarian on campus lmao
Also even cutting back on meat is good. You don't have to be full vegetarian to reap some of the benefits.

Usually, it's all of the big expensive colleges with fancy cafeterias and food programs that are able to cater to different dietary needs while also, y'know, taste good at the same time. With my school, I've found that not all of the food is great, but there's always a few days where I get something super tasty and am excited whenever I see it again. On the weekends, there's corned beef hash and that shit is delicious.

I go to a fairly expensive private college and they STILL skimp on the vegetarian options ;-;
They have good options in general but sometimes being vegetarian is like "hmm, you get rice and two carrots :)"
