I'm getting surgery later today for my broken finger. I hope all goes well. In the meantime, I'm not allowed to eat until after my appointment, which is a little after noon… and I can't drink within 3 hours of getting it. I pray that my stomach won't be growling during the procedure.

I really love the random things that you overhear strangers saying.
My friend and I went to go see Incredibles 2 in theatres and because it was really busy I had this other random girl sitting next to me. And we were watching the Pixar short before the movie (Bao) and at the part where the mom eats the little dumpling child the girl next to me whispers in this horrified voice "She ate his glasses and everything!"

I think about that like, at least once a week.

Okay so I knew that I would get into the college I applied to because they automatically accept everyone with at least a 3.0 gpa and mine was a 3.84, but they didn't get my transcripts until really late, so I wasn't sure if I'd get in this fall
But I did so fuck yeah also they didn't send me a "hey you got in" email, they sent me a "we assume you already knew you were accepted and this email is only to tell you we're sending you a packet with more information" email. So I thought that was kind of weird
Idk if there's still dorm space available sooo fingers crossed I don't have to do it here. But if I do end up online this year I'll be able to get diagnosed with adhd before I go ten hours away and I'll have been on meds for a while, so there's an upside
Anyways, I forgot to eat lunch and now it's 1:00 so I think I'm gonna make some dino nuggets and give my cat a treat for not being a brat so far today
