“He’ll be fine. And if the stories dad’s told me about him are true, he can fight for himself,” Meg said easily. “My dad’s got some pressure on him, too. After the whole, quote, ‘Civil War.’ But we have to move on.”

"Yeah," Cameron nodded, glancing at her and back ahead towards the rest of the group. "You're right."

“I usually am,” Meg joked. “Except in English. I can never remember the difference between a pronoun and a preposition.”

She looks down, as Peter read the letter, then walks over to Kelly, Eliza, Doctor Strange, and her father. She smiles at Kelly and Eliza. "Hi again Kelly! Have you met Eliza…?"

"Oh, hey, no, hi," Kelly said. (She's not with her dad right now.)

"Prepositions. . . god, don't even get me started on those." Cameron laughed, his blue eyes lighting up as he smiled. "My worst class is Spanish though."

Eliza rubs her arm with the opposite hand

She looks down.

Stark smiles. "Kelly and Renza, why don't you two show Eliza and the others the tower…?"

(I'm on) Jenny walked back to the group. She had a smile on her face but her eyes were sad, as if something dreadful had happened but she didn't want to talk about it.

"Sure Mr Stark," Kelly said, glancing around for her dad. He'd vanished. Oh well, it's not like this is the first time, Kelly thought.

“I tried Spanish once. Had to change my elective because the big fat F I was earning was dragging down my GPA,” Meg laughed.

She smiles at her father, then looks at Eliza. "Come on…I've lived here my whole life…so I know the secret tunnels." She looks at her father, expecting him to be mad.

Stark laughs. "Like a daughter of mine. Good girl. "

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Summer awkwardly stood alone, watching the rest of the group interact with each other. She designed new dwarfs in her mind as she leaned against the wall, bored.

"I used to take French. . . let's just say, it didn't go well." Cameron smiled, looking over at Meg. "The only thing I retained was tu es belle which helps me flirt with girls. And that doesn't go very well either." He finished, laughing.

A voice shouting her name ripped Summer from her thoughts, and she saw Kerenza looking over at her. She smiled and made her way over.

"Yeah?"

"Hey!"

“I’m horrible at flirting,” Meg smiled. “The one time I tried, it took a month for me to live down the humiliation. Lucky for me, the kid moved schools at the end of the year, so at least I didn’t have to have a daily reminder walking around.” Meg’s eyes sparked at the memory. “Dad’s never let me forget it,” she added, laughing.

@KawaiiCuteness003

"Oh, all right. Uh, do you know what we're doing here?" Summer wondered.

"I would ask Mr. Strange. He's the one who called us here…" She walks off with her father.

"I bet you're great a flirting, with a cute face like that." Cameron grinned, glancing over at her. "I can barely get the words out of my mouth when I do."
