(HELLO I HAVE RETURNED)
Ender sighed and sat back. "Terminal cancer. He was such a fighter though."
(HELLO I HAVE RETURNED)
Ender sighed and sat back. "Terminal cancer. He was such a fighter though."
(HELLO!)
"Oh," Venus lowered her eyes. She shifted to lean her head on Ender's shoulder and closed her eyes.
He patted her back. "It's okay though. He wouldn't want me to be down the rest of my life."
"Yeah," Venus opened her eyes.
(Wait, are Blaine, Nessa, and Jane all sitting at a separate table or no?)
(I've got no idea… I'm just sitting here reading sad stories…)
(i have no flippin clue my dude…)
"Anyway…." He took a deep breath. "My ice cream is melting and so are your severed souls…."
Venus couldn't help but laugh. She laughed so hard that she shook. She couldn't help it. She had to.
Ender grinned. He loved making her laugh.
(We'll say they're in a different booth, but just behind them, I guess.)
Blaine snorted from her booth and continued to eat her ice cream. Like she'd said, it was the best!
Ender looked at his watch. "Aw crap I got to go…."
“Nope. Nuh uh,” Jane said, standing up. “You can miss wherever you need to go. #VenderBonding is more important.”
Blaine choked back a laugh, hiding it behind a cough.
"If it's important, Jane, he should probably go," she said, still trying to hold back laughter. "I can give you a ride if you need it, Ender."
"Thanks. It's just my dad gets home at this time so I don't wanna miss that."
“Ugh. Fine.” Jane muttered, sitting back down.
"Okay. C'mon, then," Blaine said, standing up. She gestured to the door with her ice creamless hand and licked the ice cream that was in her other hand.
Ender turned to Venus and gave her one more kiss before following Blaine.
Blaine unlocked her car with one hand, still holding onto her ice cream with the other, and climbed in.
"What's your address?" she asked, turning to Ender as she got her GPS up on her phone.
"Oh…." Ender thought for a moment. "331 E 53rd Ave."
"'Kay, thanks," Blaine said, looking down at her phone and typing the address into it. "All right, you ready?"
Nessa ate her tillimook mudslide and sadly watched her ship say good bye, "Well they are cute "
"Yep…." He still regretted leaving so early.
(I'm gonna time skip a bit if that's okay.)
Blaine pulled up outside Ender's house and parked.
"Okay, this is your stop," she said, smirking.
(Yep it's fine)
"Thanks Blaine." Ender got out.
"No problem," Blaine said. Having a sudden thought, she asked him, "Hey, do you want Venus' number? Or do you have it already?"
"Oh! Crap I forgot to ask her!" He facepalmed. "Sure!"
"Here, give me your phone." Blaine held her hand out, waiting for him to give it to her.
He handed it to her.
After pulling her contact for Venus up on her own phone, she tapped the number into Ender's.
"There, it's in there now," she said, handing his phone back to him.
"Thanks!" He waved goodbye and ran up the front steps.
"Sure," Blaine said.
Now what? I should probably go back to the ice cream shop…
