The two got to their feet, Advocate seemingly indignant behind the mask. Echo grinned widely, and he looked human until he stood up. His arms seemed disconnected at the elbow, and he was covered in large stitches. His hair was swept over one side of his face, and he seemed to have an extra eye right below the other one. His grin seemed to widen at the sight of Sam, and he ran to tackle hug the guardian. "Samandriel! Samandriel's back! Oh my gods we gotta tell the bosses right now!" he shouted happily, wrapping Sam in a bone-crushing hug
Orion speaks for the first time, hooded, voice rough. "I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you wish us to be killed."
Echo let go of Sam, squinting at Orion. "And who the hell are you? The bosses are the best around, they've been kicking Inspa's ass for the last 1000 years! Well. One of them at least," he said, quieting a small bit
Orion's voice seemed deeper than usual, normally smooth and at a slightly deep pitch. It was kind of terrifying when his voice changed suddenly. Unless he was joking, and this was nothing to be joked about. Lata shivered a bit at the sound of it.
(I READ THAT AS IF INSPA HAD MORE THAN ONE ASS AND THEN HAD TO READ IT AGAIN)
Orion speaks again, the same absence of tone. "There are mortals here. Magic wielders. I care for them, and have no wish to see them disintegrated."
Advocate folded his arms. "We have no cause for killing any of you. If either Arik or Damascus wanted you dead the machine above the door would have bitten your heads off as soon as you stepped inside."
Lata frowned at the thought of having her head bitten off. What a morbid way to die.
Lucy put a gentle hand on Orion’s shoulder, giving it a squeeze. “It’s okay, nothings going to happen with us,” she said in a soft tone, trying to calm him the best she could.
(Oof, okay, I’ve gotta go now. I may be on later tonight!)
(You getting application errors too?)
(You getting application errors too?)
(Ugh, yes. Hopefully it’s better by tonight)
After a moment, Orion dips his head, nodding once to the creature before him. "Shall we continue, then?"
(aight I'm back for like 10 minutes before I gtg again)
Echo scowled at him before nodding. Advocate turned, leading them down the hall and into a large dining hall of sorts. There was a tall man sitting at the end of the table, his hands folded under his chin. His hair was dark purple and messy, done in a way that looked a little like Einstein's hair. From a distance he seemed normal despite his pale purple skin, but upon closer inspection he had 8 eyes, all but two of which were closed
Lata was cautious in coming closer along with the rest of the group. She prayed that Sam knew what he was doing.
Orion follows confidently, footsteps making no noise. Slowly, Orion nods his head to the many eyed man, a show of respect.
The man glanced up at them. "Sit," he said, gesturing to the table. There was food lined up along it, and Sam and the guards sat down
Lata sat down, feeling a bit uncomfortable. The food smelled quite pleasant however.
Orion stands, refusing to sit. Instead he simply waits by the table. At the odd glances he says, "It is only custom for the head of a house to wait until his family is seated before him." This insinuates that Sam, Cas, and Lilith are his family.
Lucy sat down hesitantly, resting her bag on her lap. She seeemed to keep it closer to her, not fully trusting their new hosts. The food on the table simply made her stomach churn slightly. She wasn’t sure if she could eat a single thing after everything that had happened that day.
(Oh my god, someone on a tv show I’m watching yelled “damn good breakfast!” And I almost lost it)
(Lmaooo that will forever be a favorite inside joke)
(I told that to my grandma when she made me cereal the other day and I stg I almost faceplanted into my bowl from laughing when she didn't get it)
(Oh my gosh lmao. Please tell me you didn’t curse to your grandmother lol)
(no I did but she was cool with it lmao)
